The GOP presidential debate winner Wednesday night was dominant front-runner Donald Trump, a Newsmax Poll finds.
In early results from a poll of Newsmax TV viewers, the billionaire businessman logged 64 percent support, while former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina came in second, with 12 percent.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 6 percent.

Perhaps I’ve confused the definition of a Democrat.
Would you vote for a Republican that endorsed and supported the Kelo decision?
Would you vote for a Republican that wanted to grow government?
Would you vote for a Republican who wanted single-payer aka government healthcare?
PS the point about Wikipedia is that it’s very bad for politically charged issues. You’ll find that for the Trump claims on Wikipedia Trump is the source or an anonymous source backing what Trump says. Be wary, be wise.
You know they won`t be, even Fox has folded :/
Mcarthy was right... The communists are so embedded now, it will take a miracle to clean house :^(
(And a couple of generations...
And Rand Paul is still the best candidate on either side.
Cruz should have interrupted every 3 minutes like Carly to get his talking points in.
Completely agree with you. We have thousands of laws on the books and yet here we are. The trouble is runaway government that is unaccountable and essentially lawless. Government serves government.
Think about the EPA spill, now ancient history, Benghazi, the IRS targeting, Waco, etc. No one is held to account. The bureaucracy shrugs because it’s too big and unwieldy to be held to account. No one is to blame.
Adding a layer of more watcher to watch the watchers is counterproductive. Starve the beast. Shrink it down. That’s the road to liberty.
Trump’s policy involve adding more government. Not for me.
once more with feeling.....
have you ever owned and operated a business and can validate your claims?
have you ever made a payroll?
Yep.
Sadly, these polls are what the LIV follow..
And, in case anyone asks who I support, I support Palin... since she is not running, I am behind Cruz..
If Cruz can’t get the nomination, Trump is the last on the list I will support...anything after that, I write in Palin.
Once more into the breach, my FRiend:
Trump has always asked us to measure him by his money. Thats Trumps yardstick, not mine.
Live by money, die by money. Trumps not a good businessman. His number one claim is bunkum. What else does Trump have?
Trump’s mediocre on his main selling point. He’s selling the sizzle while criticizing Fiorina, yet the steak is burning.
[Are they going to put a horse head in Trumps bed?]
I wouldn’t mention a horse head and Carly in the same thread, could lead to comparisons.
well they picked a bitter, angry looking bird if you ask me. With men she is going to come off as a b*itch. They can have that already with Hillary.
Drop Trump and we’re on the same page. ;-]
Which liberals, elites and establishment types has Trump driven from the race? He’s all talk, no action.
You must not have watched any of his recent appearances on television. He has denounced the Administration with stronger adjectives than has any other candidate. He and Cruz also had a rally, which I did not see any footage of, held in Washington, to denounce the Iran Treaty; which was something attributed to Obama the last time I heard.
Trump knows what he’s done. Trump’s a self-promoter, but tellingly he never mentions all the pro-liberty actions he’s taken all his life.
Interesting, no?
I mean he’s a brash, gutsy billionaire that nobody controls. Isn’t now the time to shine? Isn’t now the time to toss out your bona fides and have our doubts washed away?
Trump isn’t the candidate you’re looking for.
Excellent and thanks for the insight.
I’ve never jockeyed a horse in a race, but I can still figure the winners from the losers.
You are wise and observant, FRiend.
While many of the Union bosses are Leftists, the rank & file of the skilled unions, which you identify, have always been fairly Conservative. They were the Reagan Democrats, for that matter. Because they are not ordinarily that political, they often need a catalyst to wake them up. Trump could well be that catalyst, which would be a serious benefit to our side.
You are simply fishing for reasons not to like Trump. And it is becoming more obvious, as one goes down the line in this thread.
