The GOP presidential debate winner Wednesday night was dominant front-runner Donald Trump, a Newsmax Poll finds.
In early results from a poll of Newsmax TV viewers, the billionaire businessman logged 64 percent support, while former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina came in second, with 12 percent.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 6 percent.

What I was looking for was a major gaffe by Trump, didn’t happen. Now, if he can keep his tweets under control, then he doesn’t lose any ground - but Carson and Carla get to split the anti-Trump vote, which means that Trump’s lead actually increases, even if he didn’t pick up any support last night.
When was the last day you saw that Obama and Hillary’s crimes were front page? Just wondering, about your reality.

There was No way in hell that Donald Trump was the Run away winner of the debate last night.I think someone has an agenda and they are just not being fair.
If anything Trump came in first.
Carly Fiorina came in a very close second.
Marco Rubeo came in third.

The result would have been the same if the poll had been posted before the debate.
Polls are worthless and online polls are the worst of all. I don’t even take part in them anymore because they’re a popularity contest at best and outright manipulation at worst.
People do NOT want a replay of 2012 in which mit-wit rollover-girl baby-face Romney-ina HANDED THE ELECTION TO THE MAGIC NEGO.
We don’t trust the GOP with anything as important as the presidency.
These polls measure an emotional response to the debates. Winning a debate doesn’t make you a good President.
I recommend we listen to the words and the points being made and try to filter out the theatrics.
I’ve looked at a couple of debate threads this morning and many (most?) of the comments are emotional “shoot from the hip” comments.

The Obama and Hitlery crimes will be around for a long time, even as they were addresses numerous times in the debates.
Side note; was it just me or when they got onto indefensible issues like Hitlery and especially “Climate Change’, Tapper was quick to end that thread of debate?
As for the Drudge Poll, It will only be a side note for today while we are, and will be, living with the debauchery of the current administration for a long. long time. There always be something that will keep it off of page one as long as the establishment pukes hold the cards. Or did you forget about Cecil the lion already?

Exactly, Trump regularly polls at 0% unknown. That kind of celebrity is hard to beat with the Jerry Springer voters.
Agree with the Carson/Fiorina split scenario. Trump immediately widens the gap between himself and Carson. Fiorina picks up points but isn’t a factor, she’s degenerated in to a one-trick pony.
