One thing that helped Trump was the massive number of questions the mods asked that included “Trump”.

It was obvious that the mods had one major goal: attack Trump and get other candidates to attack him.

Some candidates refused to pile on. Others gladly piled on.

Source: Trump and anonymous.

Check the sources at Wikipedia. Read the articles. The evidence is invention, anonymous invention.

Or, better yet, show me what Trump’s done to fight illegal immigration, ever. Which anti-illegal immigration groups has he donated to?

Answer: None.

Trump: all bluster, all the time.

PS: a photo of the son of a politically connected NY mega-developer with Reagan is meaningless.

I love it too. I once was in a meeting with a bunch of elected liberals and their bureaucrat cronies. We were debating a tax cut and they all said - But it’ll only amount to twenty bucks per person and that’s nothing!

I said, “Twenty bucks is nothing? Then take out your twenty and toss it on the table. I’ll take it.”

They passed the tax cut that night. I love taking on PC. It’s a religion of the devil.

Just watch your language and act like an adult here.

I can’t guarantee I’ll act your definition of adult, but I’ll watch the language if other posters aren’t at it. The s*** word was indeed abnormal for me though.

CNN ran a clip of her blinking in response to Trump talking about the 30,000 who lost jobs at HP. Even CNN commented that the rapid blinking indicated that Trump was hitting a nerve.

After the last debate, Kasich rose -- according to the media. Recall that FoxNews promoted him at the last minute to the main debate.

After this debate, Fiorina rose -- according to the media. Note that CNN had to expand the cut-off number to get her moved to the main debate.

Different candidates, same objective: Get Trump!

Trump is still standing, so their objective has failed again.

Just last week, Carson was about to overtake Trump. Last night, he barely moved the meter. He is just not that impressive when one listens to him and understands his more moderate positions.

If you're not for it [building the wall], whatever the cost, then you aren't for America.

I grew up during a time when people were trapped behind a wall built by communists to keep them in. I'm not for a wall that costs me my liberty.

Wait, you say, this is to keep people out. Wait, says I, there's a better way: welfare reform. It's a way toward liberty, not away from it. It's a way toward making Americans better, undoing the welfare state, and putting Americans to work. I'd go further.

I'd punish those cities that violate the Commerce Clause via anti-right to work laws like licensing, zoning and permitting restrictions. Illegal immigration is a symptom of the illness called BigGov, capisce?

Now back to the question:

border wall - who builds it? Will it be built under prevailing wage law? What politically connected company will get the tax money to build?

border enforcement - How does this look? Will it involve more government?

Those are real questions for this American, if you define America as a land of liberty where government is small and the people are big. Now, try not calling names and answer these important policy questions.

Note bene that Trump is a distraction from the underlying issues. I want more, not less liberty. Do you?

If deportation exists as a credible threat, many will self-deport. Take away the job opportunities and - MOST important - the ridiculous amounts of benefits, and many more will leave. So long as the rest exist as a manageable number, we can figure something out.

Charging employers who knowingly hire illegals with a crime punishable by prison would be the single largest deterrent to illegal immigration.

Carly Fiorina is clearly a subscriber to the WOW movement and her sharp, angular and bitter face pretty much looks like all the members of that group.

Uuugh, ooogh, errrgh, the stupid, it hurts! It actually hurts! Border wall... compared... to iron curtain... Uuugh. Make it stop! Make it stop!

I will have to remember you so I can rub this in your face every time you come around bashing Trump.

Wait, says I, there's a better way: welfare reform.

Welfare reform isn't going to do anything when you have 40 million new voters in the freaking country increasing the Democrat vote by a minimum of 10 or 15 percent depending on the state! Say goodbye to your welfare reform fool!

And an enormous reduction in American liberty. Solutions that grow government feed the problem. We need less laws, not more laws. Our problem is lawlessness.

You’re right. It’s presumptuous of me to expect 24 months of FReeping and who knows how long of lurking to have given a pseudonymous poster the ability to present a cogent, small government argument.

Aren’t you for small government?

The thing I always hear after “W” is we don’t need another Bush. It seems to me unless Yeb changed to democrat that he knew he was unelectable by his own party. I think the run was a money grab for Columba a new wardrobe from Paris and a Bush vacation home. Go big or go home.

Your argument is basically Ron Paul's argument, and we all know the Paultards aren't really Conservatives.

You can disparage Wikipedia, but your blanket ‘Trump is a Democrat’ is a half-truth.

Half-truths are intended to obfuscate.
