Amid mounting concerns about Donald Trumps candidacy from the GOP establishment, Republican leaders in at least two states have found a way to make life a lot harder for him.
The Virginia and North Carolina parties are in discussions about implementing a new requirement for candidates to qualify for their primary ballots: that they pledge to support the Republican presidential nominee and not run as a third-party candidate in the general election.
The Virginia proposal has earned the support of Ken Cuccinelli, the states former attorney general and 2013 gubernatorial nominee, who has been promoting the idea to members of the state party central committee. He has also been in touch with [party Chairman John] Whitbeck.
Anybody who wants to seek the Republican nomination should have to commit to supporting the ultimate Republican nominee, Cuccinelli said in a Monday interview. I dont see anything wrong with that.

I think he’ll need a bigger purth, er, purse.
And what would be the penalty if they changed their minds?
no, I embarrassed you in my last post. If it WAS the header, and I doubt it, Breitbart editors got embarrassed by it and changed it. You should be thusly embarrassed:
As I said, Cooch was fighting the GOP masters when Trump was a liberal universal care Hillary Obama loving Democrat.
You know what I would tell them. Kiss My Lilly White Posterior.
and you need to throw a tantrum to Breitbart rather than to someone who copies directly from them.
You are truly a pathetic creature in an outburst directed like you did.
I see, they could keep him from running as a third-party candidate in VA—but the state’s sore loser law would already prevent that from happening.
I guess NC could be a threat.
Lawyer up.
Trump is just a wee bit smarter than that. Remember, this guy has long dealt with and won against clever and experienced businessmen.
“no, I embarrassed you in my last post. If it WAS the header, and I doubt it, Breitbart editors got embarrassed by it and changed it. You should be thusly embarrassed:”
and that was a deliberate, easy to fact check lie that you just told.
Go to breitbart and read for yourself what is still on their posting.
Obvious you have no brains as you have not even checked on Breitbart.com
see? I mad it easier for you to try to get onto their website.
Anybody who wants to seek the Republican nomination should have to commit to supporting the ultimate Republican nominee, Cuccinelli said in a Monday interview. I dont see anything wrong with that. That has to work both ways...You sure that's what you want Mr. Cuccinelli?
Say you will and then don't...Then when confronted: What's the matter? You don't like being lied to?
Would these organizational types repeat that behavior, if the Party nominates someone too Conservative--or even just too independent minded for them being able to control? That behavior at this stage in the aftermath of what the perfidy in 1964 made possible--the betrayal of America set in motion by those Republicans who basically embraced the post 1933 Democratic Party "achievements,"--would likely mean the end of the American values that we here hold sacred.
Hopefully, someone will explain to those who put the Party organizational structure ahead of every other consideration, that we are running out of time to play these diversionary games.
How about a pledge to honor your campaign promises.
but he is not GOPe.Well then he must have drank the Koolaide, because he is now.
Does ceremony involve surrendering your testicles?
He with the most votes and biggest purse controls the party. Trump could soon be the leader and start calling the shots!
(the correct response)Trump: You First!
