If they didn’t intend to rig the game there’d be no necessity for any pledge.
It’s obviously aimed at Trump. So fhe fact that they insist that he pledge, is the proof that they intend to shaft him.

The way the Republican ‘leadership’ in Congress lied to the voters during the 2014 campaign about what they would do if they won the Senate and control of both houses, and what they have actually NOT done, it’s really rich to hear any Republicans talking about loyalty.
The GOPE is who wants Trump to take a loyalty oath to the GOP.
That's totally different from your headline, and besides, Cuccinelli was fighting the GOP masters back when Trump was supporting Obama and donating to the Clinton Foundation. You may agree or not with Cuccinelli, but to call him a GOP master is jut not even close to reality.
