Is that a promise, Chris?
Tonight on MSNBC, mocking the notion that Hillary Clinton's e-mail server woes may eventually push her out of the presidential campaign, Hardball host Chris Matthews sneered that when that happens, he'd wrap his Hardball program.

KELLYANNE CONWAY, Republican strategist: ...I do want her to hang on. I do, and here's why. I worry that if she gets pushed out of the race too early, Chris, then, you've got Elizabeth Warren stepping in, she's got plenty of time to raise the money and take that mantle.
CHRIS MATTHEWS, host: You think that's going to happen?
CONWAY: But let's get back to the word electable. This is so important to a conservative like me to hear--
CHRIS MATTHEWS, host: Just before we go off into the crazy car again, do you actually think Elizabeth Warren is eventually going to go into this race?
KELLYANNE CONWAY: If Hillary is truly damaged and if she exits on her own, yes.
MATTHEWS: OK, thank you for the if.
CONWAY: Why not?
MATTHEWS: We're waiting right now-- No, no, there's a lot of if there. When Hillary Clinton quits this election, we're going to shut down this show, OK?
Will he move to Venus with Cher?
How can he shut down a show no one watches..its like the whole tree in a woods analogy, if no one around to hear it fall, does it make a sound
Cool.... a twofer!
Good little Chrissy can move to Jupiter with Cher.
Why wait til then? Shut it down now.
He turns 70 in December, it’s as good of a reason as any.
“Matthews: If Hillary Drops Out of Race, I’m Ending ‘Hardball’ Run”
Promises, promises.
He probably means just for one night, so he can go through the "process of mourning" with a couple fifths of Jack.
“A twofer.”
For sure! Win-win.
Will anyone notice?
Why wait?
Sounds like a win win to me!
A twofer!
Why is it that I like Chris Mathews? I really do.
This gives him an “out” for his lousy ratings.
Who is Chris Matthews?
GREAT post in a GREAT thread, ‘creek. It’s definitely something I would post. GRRRRRRREAT FReeper humor BUMP! (Yeah, I know who he is but haven’t watched the propagandist in about 15 years)
Adios MoFo
>> I cant believe he said that <<
I’ll bet he’s hitting the bottle again.
>> He turns 70 in December, its as good of a reason as any <<
His wife is now running for Congress from Maryland and stands an excellent chance of winning in 2016. After that, they probably won’t need the measly salary Chris gets from MSNBC.
