WASHINGTON (AP) — Two aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton have agreed not to delete any work-related emails or documents following an order from a federal judge that they preserve the records, according to their lawyers.
The pledges from Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills are contained in court documents submitted by the State Department this week as a part of a public records lawsuit brought by the conservative group Judicial Watch.
That lawsuit sought records related to Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state, specifically documents about the work of Abedin, Clinton’s former deputy chief of staff.

Judiciary Committee Chair Sen Charles Grassley has been pressing the State Department to answer questions over Abedin’s lucrative govt job arrangement. Grassley wrote in a June 13 letter, “It appears that Teneo Strategies may have been compensating Ms. Abedin for gathering information from government sources for the purpose of informing investment decisions of her consulting clients - or in other words, political intelligence.
This raises important questions about whether Abedin’s dual role was adequately disclosed to government officials who may have provided her information without realizing that she was being paid by private investors to gather information.” Grassley’s letter recounted:
<><> Abedin allegedly sent or received more than 7,000 emails on her US government account that involved Teneo’s Doug Band, a close confidante and travel companion of the globe-trotting Bill clinTon;
<><> one email exchange involved Teneo’s Doug Band pressuring Abedin to encourage her State Department boss, Hillary Clinton, to facilitate a White House appointment for one of his clients. Judith Rodin, then-president of the Rockefeller Foundation, “donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation,” Mr. Band allegedly noted in his email to Ms. Abedin.
<><> email evidence allegedly suggests that Ms. Abedin and another Hillary aide, Cheryl Mills, colluded, to find a way to ensure the US govt paid for Ms. Abedin’s travel to and from New York.”
<><> Abdein apparently falsified official govt documents to pocket $33,000 tax dollars for leave she hadn’t used.
<><> multiple allegations received by Grassley’s Judiciary Committee indicated Abedin had actually taken leave
during her time as a govt employee, casting doubt on whether Abedin should have received $33,000 in taxpayer money.
<><> allegations surfaced that the State Dept personnel rule was quietly bent to permit Abedin to collect her government paycheck while wielding her influence to the benefit of her other employers.
<><> Hillary Clinton jetted to Ireland with Abedin at her side for her last official trip before exiting the State Dept, during which Hillary attended an event hosted by a major Clinton Foundation donor that had been promoted by Teneo (for which Abedin then-served as a “consultant”)
<><> Abedin’s special employment status gave her heavy influence over Hillary Clinton’s State Dept daily schedule and travel plans at the same time Abedin served as a senior adviser at Teneo, and performed other duties at the Clinton Foundation.
<><> Abedin using information about Hillary’s travel schedule in discussions w/ her clients, could be a serious breach of US ntl security, since even the calendar amd travel plans of the Secy of State is considered classified information.
<><> Abedin was among several key aides to Hillary Clinton that hosted email accounts on a private server in the 2016 presidential candidate’s Chappaqua, New York home, in violation of federal records laws.
Abedin is currently vice-chair of Hillary’s presidential campaign committee.
You are forgetting that “Penalty of Perjury” means absolutely nothing to the Clintons and anyone associated with the Clintons. Just think back to Billy Boy lying under oath, what did it cost him???? Not much, he had to surrender his law license for 5 years, but he wasn’t practicing law anyway, and other than a little embarrassment, which I really think is hard to come by when it comes to the Clintons, or to the Weiners as far as that goes. No penalty of perjury means nothing.
Huma abeddin should have been arrested, under the patriot act, once the emails were found to have been of national security interests.
I didn’t forget and I know all that. But these two are not Clintons with the exception of girltoy Huma I guess. If I were that Cheryl Mills, I’d be as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Even her color would not save her from being a scapegoat if Hillary has made the deal with Obama.

If Huma and Cheryl Mills have LOTS of info that could be spilled on the Clintons, then I see the Clintons using their precious money and influence to keep everything under wraps...To me there is no end to what the Clintons will go to not only obtain; but to keep power and control. That’s what it’s all about.

Of course she saw top secret and all the other categories of classified info. Since Hillary was using only the illegal server, how in God’s name can one imagine Hillary keeping anything on the shared server from the human she trusts most in this world? One can logically wager that the top secret stuff was especially for Huma’s eyes and for anyone else to whom Huma forwarded information from this server or some other server that she herself likely made use of.... “Forward” and “save,” “copy and paste” into a word document on a flash drive are not difficult commands to use before one erases a received email.
Huma Abedin’s been her aide continuously since the Clinton time in the White House! Huma is Ms Muslim Brotherhood. She was installed into the White House at a very young age. Hillary and Bill got her married off to Jewish Anthony Weiner, then a rising political star with presidential ambitions.
If this were fiction, it would seem too blatantly incredible and transparent a plot. Who would believe anybody in their right mind would be fooled by what’s in front of their faces? Truth is indeed stranger than fiction.
