If you're going to run for president, buy every website domain with your name.
On Monday morning, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina announced she's running for U.S. president. But if you head to CarlyFiorina.org, you'll find a message that criticizes her for firing tens of thousands of workers at HP (HPCQ).
It shows 30,000 sad faces -- one for every employee that was laid off while Fiorina was chief executive from 1999 to 2005. The accusation that she outsourced so many American jobs is a major thorn in Fiorina's side -- and one reason she lost her bid for U.S. Senate in 2010.
No one hijacked the site. It's not a hack. Fiorina's campaign team just didn't buy it soon enough.
This is a standard, dopey mistake politicians make nowadays. And it'll inevitably mean that curious voters will end up seeing this anti-Fiorina message when they're actually trying to find her real website, CarlyFiorina.com (which redirects to CarlyForPresident.com).
That's the thing about websites. No one remembers actual domain names. Most people just type in a candidate's name on Google and search for it. And they'll head to whatever pops up in the results

A “suck site”
Absolutely priceless! And she ran an IT company...
To save the company, I had to lay off some workers, sell off our European division and close several plants...
Lee Iococca
But I think in his case he did great for the company. Just saying layoffs doesn’t equal bad ceo.
She is a good attack dog against Hilary. Can say things men cant say.
Keep her in for a few months then cut her loose.
The real suckers are the ones who bought and pay to maintain this site. No one thinks she is going to win so why bother?
And yet, this same CNN champions Obama’s illegal immigration, outsourcing, and trade policies.
LOL
Fiorina is no favorite of mine, but this is so transparent on CNN’s part.
I find the extreme hatred from the Left to be akin to fascism in Germany in 1940. It’s sad the LW has so much hatred for women running for office (Other than the ones who worship money like Hillary).
Well, I guess the Clinton Foundation had enough $$$ to buy that site and develop it. Anyone doubt who created it?
Cruz/Jindal 2016
Another GOP presidential primary with the field crowded with those who have no chance to win.
A suck site

CNN? Yes, I agree. Posting a pretty lame attempt to snark at Carly Fiorina.
How many has obama laid off from the military...?
Fine, let President Cruz appoint her as his West-Wing based Caporegime .....
..... for the purpose of firing and severing hundreds of thousands of useless parasitic Beltway leeches.
Does anybody really think HP is the only company that outsourced? Let’s take a look at Apple.
Pray America is waking
Firoina is simply another GOPe creature hoping to suck off votes from decent candidates. She’s a nothing nobody, that is laughable when it comes to being qualified to be president.
That being said, she has more credentials than Obama.
I agree with you. Layoffs are part and parcel of capitalism. Soviet Union guaranteed every one a job. No layoffs ever! And they went bankrupt. Japan also tried lifetime employment. Japanese economy has shrunk more than most other industrial economies. Their stock market never recovered.
I don’t believe so, but this isn’t about H. P.
It’s a hit-piece on Fiorina for doing the very things CNN thinks are great under Obama.
They played this same ploy on Fiorina in California. I am not a fan of Fiorina at all, but in the interest of fairness, it really gets my goat when the Left pulls this B. S.
It’s like when they capitalized on “Bush Lying” about new taxes, when their candidates lie all the time and always champion higher taxes. Look at who they replaced the “big liar” Bush with. Bill Clinton!
Is there a bigger hypocrite on the planet than an elite Leftist figure in the United States? NO!
HP went from a technology/science company to a McDonalds.
What the H#LL happened to the Japanese. Everyone thought they would own us by 1990. Then something went very wrong.
I read that it is their culture where firing is anathema.
That Borg like thinking is what helped to defeat them in WWII. I read that if the squadron leader got killed they didn’t know what to do whereas American fighters were very fiercely independent and innovative when attacking ships
I agree with your take on this, but I would expand that Fascism period to 1932 through 1940 and perhaps on a few years.
As I understand it, the thought police were really entrenched in the mid to late 30s.
