The exchange captures Hillary Clinton’s red alert. She’s been going politically bankrupt for a long time, and now faces the prospect of sudden collapse.
If she’s got a winning defense, she better be quick about it. The ghosts of scandals past are gaining on her and time is not on her side.
The compelling claims that she and Bill Clinton sold favors while she was secretary of state for tens of millions of dollars for themselves and their foundation don’t need to meet the legal standard for bribery. She’s on political trial in a country where Clinton Fatigue alone could be a fatal verdict.
After 25 years of corner-cutting and dishonest behavior, accumulation is her enemy. Each day threatens to deliver the straw that breaks the camel’s back. It may already have happened and we’re just waiting for public opinion to catch up to the facts.
Meanwhile, her Houdini skills are being tested big time.
Hillary’s one big advantage is obvious — she’s the only serious contender for the Democratic nomination, and she beats most GOP opponents in head-to-head matchups. But everything else weighs against her, including momentum.

I don’t think its a ploy to get it out early, for her sake.
All of these things that are out are the sort that begs for investigation. And they are interconnected. And its been dripping out, in measured doses. And every new bit has been blindsiding the Clinton operation. If it were for her sake the whole dossier would have dropped at once, with positive spin arranged ahead of time.
You can see that behind whats out, there are a lot of other shoes ready to drop.
And the whole series of stories (7 or 8 so far this year including twists and followups) has come out of the MSM, from Bill’s sex island pal to secret email to Clinton foundation finances. Next week there will be something else.
Maybe the Enquirer story about Hilary’s girlfriends will get a “serious” article in the NYT style section.

The Dems and Hillary are stuck for now. She will have to leave the campaign probably before Fall. She will have to claim health reasons or some sort. Maybe fake a trip to the hospital.

But Elizabeth Warren IS liberal enough for VJ. That is why The Reptile met with Warren a few weeks before Clinton announced.
If I was Hillary, I would go on a scorched-earth campaign against Valerie Jarrett. I’d release secrets only Hillary will have access to. I’d even center my campaign on campaigning AGAINST Valerie Jarrett. She might even attract some moderate Republican voters that way.
Hill has to stay in the race just long enough so she can tell the ChiComs and the Russians that she earned all those millions they gave her and Billy Jeff for access.
What you fail to understand is this:
1. Polls taken this far away from the last week before the election are meaningless.
2. Assuming these polls had any meaning at all, at this point the inescapable fact is clear: HRC is far below 50% in all of them, and for no other reason than her name has been around the longest she is the titular "incumbent"
3. Her star is sinking, not rising. Meanwhile in the space of less than a month's time those who have announced are already well into the 40%'s where some started from positions in the single digits mere weeks earlier.
I doubt that Hillary even makes it to the primary; still every day she stays in the race she sucks the wind and dollars out of anyone else on the (D) side who would hope to mount a challenge.
The (D)'s have the long knives out for each other. Obama's and Clinton's hate each other as much as need each other and they will before long be turning on each other.
Wring you hands all you want over this poll nonsense. It's all a wasted effort.
You'll only be shown to be the sucker for placing so much credence in what is at this point so meaningless.
