The Clintons took in more than $140M in 2013 but spent just $9M on direct aid.....the bulk spent on travel, salaries and bonuses, with fat payouts going to family and friends. On 2013 tax forms, most recent available, they claim $30 million on payroll/employee benefits; $8.7 million in rent/office expenses; $9.2 million on conferences, conventions and meetings; $8 million on fund-raising; and nearly $8.5 million on travel. Significantly, none of the Clintons are listed on the payroll, except for first-class flights paid for by the Foundation.
The tax-exempt came under fire following reports that then-Secy of State Hillary Clinton allowed a Russian government enterprise to control 1/5 of all US uranium- producing capacity. Rosatom acquired Clinton crony Frank Giustra's Canadian firm--Giustra is a member of the Clinton board and pledged over $130M to the foundation. The Clintons failed to disclose millions in foreign donations from 2010-12 and is refiling five years worth of tax returns.
Charity Navigator refused to rate the Clinton Foundation because its atypical business model doesnt meet our criteria. ...it put them on its watch list' .... which includes Al Sharptons National Action Network which failed to pay payroll taxes for several years.

Good point: credit cards, expense accounts, and reimbursement records need to be checked.
They claim they have 2000 people on the payroll----are these all actual people? Putting phantom employees in the payroll and sending their wages to a numbered bank account is a tried and true n/p skimming scam.
L/E should get ahold of: (1) copies of foundation checks, (2) wire transfers, (3) account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including e-mail, contracts, loan agreements, and, (8) any other books or records. L/E should also explore (a) monies paid to brokers, sub-brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers.
Banks holding foundation money should be scrutinized to determine if foundation banking practices harmed depositers, shareholders, banking clients.
L/E should scrutinize foundation bank accounts for suspicious activites: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) frequent requests for withdrawals.
Bank records might also show diversions to secret LLC other accounts, say, campaign funding accounts.
Financial fraud can also be facilitated by withdrawals, gift cards purchases, credit card purchases and intrabank transfers from n/p accounts into personal accounts.

A huge tipoff is whether Foundation bank withdrawals support luxurious lifestyle including payments for real estate, investment and stock holdings, jewelry, luxury vehicles, resort travel and gifts from luxury outlets for wives and mistresses.
I rest my case.
What Tweed and his associates did with New York City's Democratic Party political machine, Tammany Hall, between the early 1850's and 1870 is almost an EXACT duplicate of what the Clintons did with the Clinton Foundation--trading political favors in exchange for "donations," and the Clintons getting a cut of those "donations." It's very ironic that the Clinton Foundation is based in the same city that was the home to Tammany Hall and its notorious reputation.
Hang. Them. All.
I heard the Foundation employed 400...not 2000
Thanks for the post, thread and all of your OUTSTANDING work, Liz. BTTT!
Seems NSA could have/get a lot if that info....if they weren’t on the payola
NY Post reported their investigation of records showed 2000.
Looks like you're onto something....phantom employees is a common n/p scam to skim off tax-free money.
Interesting.
Is the CGI based offshore?
I’m sure that would make investigations / legal action much more difficult.
Yes...discrepancy in number makes a good question (and research point)...we will see iF anyone bothers to check
The stated discrepancy is "that government grants were mistakenly combined with all other contributions for three years."
Judge Jeannine said she knows of no one refiling tax returns who did not go to jail.
Sorry, but amending tax returns is not a criminal offense. I've done it, after discovering that my taxable income included paid moving expenses (increasing my tax), but that I didn't take advantage of the moving expense deduction to offset it. I got an additional tax refund as a result.
There are many problems with the Clinton's operation of their foundation, but as long as their non-charitable expenses were reported as taxable income by the recipients, it's unlikely the IRS will prosecute them for that.
It would be nice if someone at the IRS were to decide that the "charity" isn't a charity, and revoke their status -- retroactively. But, I don't know enough about the tax law to know if there are objective criteria, and whether the Clinton's foundation violate the criteria.
I heard Mr. Cozine is starting a hedge fund. And what was the amount he stole? A mere $1.6 BILLION dollars? It’s unreal the corruption in this country and what they get away with. And then once in a while they bust the lesser mortals for taking something like $50k to show “We are rooting out corruption”...It seems to me there’s a threshold, if someone steals above a certain amount then gee whiz it’s perfectly legal, especially if they are Democrat. I look at the case of Republican Bernard Kerik, the former Police commissioner of NYC and one of the most decorated cops in NYPD history. He was tapped to be the head of homeland security, but *gasp* it was found out he hired an illegal as a maid! And he misreported his taxes for one year and it was claimed he was taking free renovations to his house because obviously there is a time limit when contractors should be paid. If they aren’t paid in a certain amount of time, then it’s “free renovations”. My ass it was free, he did pay them but it didn’t matter. 4 years in jail for him!
Oh yeah and what was the Clintons daughter Howdy Doody paid for her 2 seconds of work on NBC? Something like $600,000? Gee, no shady dealings going on there. It was said she was paid that amount so NBC could get first dibs on interviewing Hitlery about her book, and being the grifter Hitlery is she welched and went to ABC. Basically the Clintons scammed NBC out of $600K.

That says it all, and the bottom line is
... an ongoing criminal enterprise... the Clintons
My guess is 'the foundation' has houses in different countries - staffed - and available for the Clintons and other foundation employees to use. Kind of like having a private resident in many foreign countries to use as a free hotel or 'base'. Also air fare would be covered on 'official business'... and as I mentioned - no taxes involved.
Often it's not the money liberal elites take in as much as it's the money they don't have to spend. IMHO Clintons have set up the ultimate retirement vacation slush fund of all time...
Also the Clintons are careful when it comes to 'letter of the law' and falling on the right side - even if their actions are unethical as hell.
Legal loopholes created by corrupt liberal elites have to be closed.
Hillary's probable a crook at heart - but she's a very careful one ...one who knows what legal lines must not be crossed. Or if crossed how to 'erase' all tracks. Oh - and by the way Liz - you are really good at some of this stuff...
To add confusion and complexity, there are at least 2 different organizations:
Clinton Health Access Initiative
Clinton Foundation
Per the NYT, they operat(ed) independently of each other.

All Clinton has to say is “It’s not my fault. I don’t take care of the books.”
According to the website glassdoor.com
Clinton Health Access Initiative had 60 salaried employees as of February 17, 2015
Clinton Global Initiative had 21 (no date given)
Clinton Foundation had 13 salaried employees as of November 3, 2014.
[I don’t have access to the ‘details’ on that website.]

The Weekly Standard has a graphic that shows some $2.9 in salaries for various Clinton Foundation employees. Salaries range from $484k to $160k.
Are you talking about Sean Hannity’s good friend Lanny Davis?
Less than 10% to direct aid. And I bet that even that measly $9M (out of $140M I mean..,) that went to direct aid is highly questionable.
