Peter Schweizers book will finish off doomed Clinton campaign. Who else do Dems have?
Honestly, it shouldnt be a surprise that Hillary Clintons 2016 campaign wont go any further than if it even gets as far as her ill-fated 2008 attempt at returning to the White House. After all, Clinton isnt a more attractive candidate now than she was then, and after two terms of a failed Democrat president one would think it would require a candidate with real political skill to keep a Democrat installed at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Clinton, unlike her glib husband, has no such talent. Last weeks amateurish and clumsy rollout to her presidential bid showed she has no more aptitude for retail politics than she has for messaging. Want proof? This woman, who touched off guffaws nationwide by claiming she and Bill were dead broke upon leaving the White House (with silverware in tow) in 2001, decided to offer herself as a champion of the little people as the key theme of her campaign.
If ever there was an ill-fitting and ill-considered elevator pitch for a political candidate, its the narrative of Hillary Clinton as the defender of ordinary Americans.

Some won't vote for a liberal (R) even if you don't want to recognize that your party is very liberal at the top.

“...the electoral edge. The democrat voters will shrug and stay home on election day.”
No.. they won’t. Democrats live, eat and breathe for their beloved Party. Far from dissuading them, corruption encourages them. We’re talking about liberals, not sane people.
There is an interesting dynamic taking shape; Hillary cannot afford not to be nominated and not to win because she stands an actual chance of being indicted and convicted for many crimes. If she loses control of the indictment process because she loses the nomination and/or the election, she could be in serious trouble. She needs to stay in the game to keep the money flow going, to keep the sense of power going, to cut a deal with Obama granting her immunity, and ultimately the cut a deal with Obama to pardon her.
So like Ghost Riders in the Sky, Slick and the Bitch are condemned for eternity to ride the wave and simply cannot get off. Meanwhile, there is a growing host determined to unhorse them.
Every point made by the author is true, but he doesn’t factor in:
1. 40% of electorate on some sort of dole. All will vote Dem.
2. 50-60 million new immigrants that the govt is feverishly working to naturalize. All will vote Dem.
3. Massive voter fraud, all of whom will “vote” Dem.
4. Traditional Dem constituencies who always vote lockstep Dem, facts and scandals be damned - blacks, young women, lawyers, liberal Jews, liberal Protestants, liberal Catholics, education establishment, every government employee, most union members.
5. Abortion zealots all vote Dem.
Can this growing loose collection of interests be overcome? The electorate was insane enough to elect a hard-core communist bent on destroying America twice and his approval is still north of 50%. I wish I could be more hopeful.
Yes, but which dung beetle will roll the cankleball away...will it be bill or huma pushing it back to the nest?
Whitewater didn’t finish the Clintons, Monica didn’t finish Bill. Benghazi made hardly a ripple for Mrs. Bill. A lot of etc., too.
Obama committed political suicide in 2008? Even the Clintons are not the top tier of the party. If there is another Obama being held in the wings or if Hussein wants to do it again, well, Mrs’ Bill would just find she is on the side of the road with a seized up engine as before. Rank and file and voters knew from early in the 08 campaign that Mrs. Bill was not the choice.
...NEVER, EVER count the Clintons out....”
...and never, ever count out the people who would vote for them until the end of time, ad nauseum.
The media is Progressive and will make ANY Progressive scandal into a conspiracy by conservatives to destroy the Democrat party.
IMHO
It occurs to me she can’t withdraw. As long as she’s running she’s immune from any criminal prosecution and winning the office is the only way to prevent potentially losing the entire charitable foundation criminal enterprise. I could almost feel sorry for her if my fingers weren’t so slick from the popcorn butter.
Here’s the biggest problem of all for the Democrats: they’ll have to wait until 2020 before one of the Castro brothers from Texas—either Julian or Joaquin—will have enough “experience” to be President.
She was the "Monster favorite" back then.
Now....she's just grandma....and no one wants grandma for president. She belongs at home, taking care of grandpa (yeh right).
O'Malley will be the nominee. It's all about "pretty boys" for the Dems (How do you think Bubba won.)
The rhetoric means nothing. They're politicians and it's all about pandering.
20 million new citizens won’t stay home.
Benghazi is already old news. Who has been brought to justice for that crime? They are simply emboldened.
I'm not so sure about that. It doesn't seem to be the case for what just happened this past November. There wasn't the Magic Negro on the ballot that HAD to be protected.
Hillary, despite her support structure (which is crumbling fast IMO) is NO Magic Negro. Heck, she's just an old dumpy wrinkled white woman rich beyond most typical sheep Dem voter's dreams.
Yes, Hillary will have money, but what good is it going to be from her Bunker? Secondly, she has her own money, but will she spend one dime of it? No. She won't subject herself to even the slight possibility of encountering an avid (yet addled) supporter waiting outside her scripted venues - she slithers in the back doors! She won't even allow the media to question here - statements and speeches, just that.
I don't think she'll get blacks out in droves. She'll get NOW, Planned Parenthood, La Raza (IF she goes for Amnesty at the risk of alienating more working Dem voters), and some of the media - not all. I just don't see it.
Doesn’t matter. Whoever is on the D ticket will get All the D votes, all the libs, all the blacks, all the hispanics, all the bureaucrats (fed, state and local) all the welfare moochers, all the gays, all the communists, all the union workers (but I repeat myself), all the liberals who think they are independents, all the teachers, all the weak minded, young and old, and all the RINOs who don’t want a conservative but don’t want to stay home. On top of that, a million dead will rise and vote D. If that isn’t a lock for the D vote, the voting machines can be manipulated. On the other side, a goodly chunk of the R voters will refrain from voting because the candidate is A too religious, B not religious enough, C too committed to banning abortion, D not committed enough to banning abortion, D Too occupied with stopping illegal immigration, E not occupied enough with stopping illegal immigration, F... well, that is the idea.
If Hillary Clinton is such an "inevitable" candidate, then why isn't she the president now?
You've laid out a clear case for why she would win the election if she's nominated by the Democrat Party. What happens if she can't even be nominated? Remember -- it was Democrats who threw her under the bus in 2008, when she was younger, more credible, less scandal-ridden than she is now, and would have been facing a lunatic of a Republican opponent in an election cycle where voters were never going to elect ANY Republican candidate.
The egg of power is lying on the ground. Squeeze it too tightly, it breaks. Hold it too loosely, it breaks.
Who can pick it up?
I just LOVE how unhealthy Hillary and the Rapist look nowadays.
