We have truly become a soviet state. A man is imprisoned for exercising his Constitutional right to free speech.

I wonder just how close Amerika truly is from having Political Prisoners.
D’Souza would have made a very fine example of an enemy of Obola’s state.

That’s already begun. The Christian owner of the bakery in Colorado who refused to bake a “wedding cake” for a sodomite union, was sentenced to “diversity training”, amongst other things, for his stance. This should have been nipped in the bud when businesses started requiring it for their employees. That horse has not only left the barn, it’s on the home stretch, and about to cross the finish line in the last days.

An outrageous prosecution...

Eight months in a community confinement center and 5 years probation for what was an innocent mistake regarding the election laws. Meanwhile large scale election fraud goes on every day, no one gets held responsible and the government encourages it.
To: nuconvert
#1)For the first eight months of his probation term, DSouza will have to live in a community confinement center in San Diego,.."
Where the Feds can watch him
#2) "..Judge Richard Berman, who also fined DSouza $30,000
Which is 50% over the alledged amount of the illegal donation to campaign funds
#3)"..and directed him to undergo therapeutic counseling. Which means supervised state-sponsored indocrination classes, which he must pass.
#4".. DSouza will also have to perform one day per week of community service during his probation term
which means that they can keep him silenced for 5 years.
Any violation of community service and he can be considered 'in violation' of the terms of sentancing, and could be returned to Fed Court
and 're-sentanced' for any failure to fully comply with community service directive.
Thus , the sentancing is designed to 'box him in' with rules and regulations, and to quiet his voice for 5 years.
While at first look this judicial determination looks humane , it is designed to muffle his criticism .

GREAT news. Now he just needs a pardon from the next POTUS...

From the aticle:
“During the sentencing hearing, Berman read from a letter submitted to the court by DSouzas former wife. In the missive, Suzie DSouza alleged that her ex-spouse forged her signature on one campaign contribution form, and that he had an abusive nature. DSouza, who was married to the defendant for 20 years, wrote, In one instance, it was my husband who physically abused me in April 2012 when he, using his purple belt karate skills, kicked me in the head and shoulder, knocking me to the ground and creating injuries that pain me to this day.
In May, on the eve of trial, DSouza pleaded guilty to illegally arranging $20,000 in straw donations to the 2012 U.S. Senate campaign of Wendy Long, a New York Republican who was challenging incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.
The 53-year-old DSouza, a close friend of Long, personally reimbursed the straw donors, effectively allowing him to exceed the $5000 limit for individual donors. According to a probation report, D’Souza’s net worth is in excess of $5 million.”
I'd like to know whether the ex-wife brought up any of these charges before this hearing. Did she bring the charges up in her divorce? He just doesn't seem like a violent man. I'd have to have more proof than an ex-wife’s statement to believe the charges she is making.

Ridiculous”
Sounds an awful lot like psychological therapy undergone by dissidents during height of the soviet years...

I would be willing to bet that there was a deep dive into his emails, voicemails and texts looking for dirt, and that this is what the government was able to uncover.
How else did they find it?

So, how many 'psycho Army veterans with PTSD' are lying in wait for D'souza at the Community Confinement Center? We all know this is what's going to happen to him.
Mark this thread for when it happens. This is a travesty. I'D RATHER BE IN PRISON THEN BE UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS 'OVERKILL' PROBATION!
