After Breitbart Texas reported on the U.S. Bureau of Land Managements (BLM) intent to seize 90,000 acres belonging to Texas landholders along the Texas/Oklahoma line, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott questioned the BLMs authority to take such action.
I am about ready, General Abbott told Breitbart Texas, to go to go to the Red River and raise a Come and Take It flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas.
Gen. Abbott sent a strongly-worded letter to BLM Director Neil Kornze, asking for answers to a series of questions related to the potential land grab.
I am deeply concerned about the notion that the Bureau of Land Management believes the federal government has the authority to swoop in and take land that has been owned and cultivated by Texas landowners for generations, General Abbott wrote. The BLMs newly asserted claims to land along the Red River threaten to upset long-settled private property rights and undermine fundamental principlesincluding the rule of lawthat form the foundation of our democracy. Yet, the BLM has failed to disclose either its full intentions or the legal justification for its proposed actions. Decisions of this magnitude must not be made inside a bureaucratic black box.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas, General Abbott said, This is the latest line of attack by the Obama Administration where it seems like they have a complete disregard for the rule of law in this country ...And now theyve crossed the line quite literally by coming into the State of Texas and trying to claim Texas land as federal land. And, as the Attorney General of Texas I am not going to allow this.

A fascist state, perhaps?
Dang good point!
Performance and initiative deserve to be recognized and rewarded.
RE post 86.
You are, of course, correct.
PFL
What is our government becoming? An exposed laughing stock. Al Qeada thought America was a paper tiger. Wrong, the government is a paper tiger. To my dying day, I’ll rejoice in seeing those terrified BLM Jackboots backing away from normal citizens who out maneuvered them. They like sicking dogs on old ladies, not facing down AR-15’s.
You mean Oklahoma’s governor? Hahahahahah. She’ll call for calm, everyone to go home, let the courts sort it out. Or she’ll say nothing at all.
Thanks for posting the pdf - just saved it on my computer.
BLM Director Neil Kornze Harry Reid (corrected for all intents and purposes).
No way would Harry's hand picked flunky act on his own.
Would be willing to bet Reid or Reid cronies/Chinese are behind this.
That map looks better.
Let them come. Let them hang!
People are getting pretty fed up with these tyrants!
I think your post is the best I’ve read yet because it really nails why there won’t be a Bunkerville in Texas. Maybe a San Jacinto but no Bunkerville.
Instead of a thousand, there could be a half million show up, most armed!
Texas is already pissed about EVERYTHING ELSE!
The Feds know this ergo they won’t risk it.
How could Okla. not have the most conservative Gov. of the 57 States?
Maybe Harry Reid thinks it’s his river. Get it? The Reid River.
Maybe Texas can develop some other States as Colonies?
“And, as the Attorney General of Texas I am not going to allow this.
Looks like you Texans have a found a leader and your next governor of Texas.
LOL. There has never been a truer statement.
Supposedly one of the missions/stated purposes of the BLM is to settle land “boundary disputes” I thought surveyors and courts took care of that. BLM is also supposedly in charge of water- rivers, lakes, wetlands...so they might be trying to “protect” the river. Supposedly the BLM has management power over all land in the US; federal and private- with private land that is where boundary issues and water issues supposedly gives them power over deeded ground, not to mention endangered species...
