“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson has been fired from the reality program following his controversial remarks in GQ magazine regarding homosexuality.
A+E Networks, parent company of A&E, has released the following statement to Variety:
“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.”
And Leviticus had no gospel.

Actually, this whole thing could be a “teachable moment” for PC peeps.

Clever, but the constraints of the existing contract may not allow any form of their family, products, ideas, o,ages to be broadcast, or marketed because of copyright infringement, much less the fact that the network may call foul (pardon the pun) on any similarity issues to the families notoriety if they somehow try to branch off and do something on another network, or show similar to the one they are doing now...
Happens all the time...
Admittedly, I do not watch this program...But I do know these folks, this family makes a bundle off their images, the show, the products sold at retail outlets, etc etc etc...
All that would cease to be profittable to the family, much less the network and any blowback from any boycott of the same program and products, and the shows advertisers...
Boycotts used to be effective...Nowadays, it has very little impact ebcause of the structuring of contracts these days with on air talent, or their businesses...
What would be the ultimate “screw you” would be the network takes control of the family business that originally got them noticed in the first place...the networkk would just shut them down and let the business fail, and that would be the end of that...

Is it so outrageous to say that the body rewards us for following our natural evolutionary biology and punishes us for violating it? Isn’t that common sense?
Of course, people can and will choose to do anything they want, but it is just silly to say A=B, when they are not the same at all.
And is it incorrect to say that the relationship between a man and a woman is richer, by nature, than the relationship between a man and a man or a woman and a woman? The pairing of opposites creates something more than the addition of like things. This, too, is ingrained in human nature.
Will it move those who are bothered by it, to make a positive gospel assault?
No it doesn’t mean America has stooped to the depths of a literal Sodom. Just re-read the dialogue of Abraham with God and that should be crystal clear.
But will we quit wailing “oh what a bother to us” and start shouting “Hallelujah, what an opportunity”?
The moment we do... the battle TURNS.
Where are the warriors? Why do we cave to everything?

And the devil can rant and rave... God always wins. It is a battle between the spiritual titans. And God if obeyed always succeeds, always always always.
If the family has any principals at all they will figure out how to sever the contract or throw the series.
Just read through the first 30 or so remarks...and all I can say is that I hope another network (Fox? Just for the head explosion factor)picks them up and lets them say ANYTHING. I bet they’d get HUGE ratings!
I’m trying to holler up the warriors... dunno how good a job I am doing however.
Get a yeehaw on (from heaven) and turn around on these losers and fight fight fight... saving some, shunting others aside.
It’ll be fun when the SHTF, and the left have to put up or shut up. Whichever they choose, they lose.
A similarity clause in their contract may restrict the naming of any potential “new” series for this family...
It could be argued in court that this is too similar to the Ray Bradbury’s “The Martian Chronicles”...
Well yes, the church plays a crucial role in this. These are the people who have the gospel. Without sharing that gospel, nothing happens (well, a little could happen through legacy writings, but truly the prayers and efforts of banded Christians really are the major part of getting a gospel push on).
