Evolution to blame for murder of millions? (Book Review)
http://www.wnd.com ^ | 10/3/2013 | Jim Fletcher

A trip through a major Holocaust museum will tell you most of what you need to know about the mindset of the fiends who murdered millions in the middle of the last century. Poster-size images of death-camp inmates – all staring blankly – attest to the monstrous worldview of the prisoners’ tormentors.

What, though, really explains the Nazi capacity for murder? How could “regular people” slaughter children? What possessed – pun intended – Hitler’s willing executioners to butcher women and old men?

I think Jerry Bergman has figured it out In a new book, “Hitler and the Nazi Darwinian Worldview,” Bergman (a university professor for four decades) presents fascinating portraits of the top Nazi killers, the men who planned the ghastly Final Solution.

Although “secular science” has issues with his conclusion, the data and analysis are unmistakable: Darwin did it.

The overall premise of naturalism – that everything in the universe is random and purposeless – is a damning indictment of the worst elements of Darwinian philosophy. This mindset has created everything from schoolyard bullies to the Third Reich. Bergman’s offers a devastating critique of Darwinian philosophy, and frankly, his profiles of Hitler and his henchmen are so riveting, you won’t be able to look away. Even though you want to........

The Golden Rule came from Jesus(one who claimed to be I AM, before the existence of Abraham) who stated,”I came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it”. Since the Mosaic Law came out of a people who had committed supposedly immoral acts, I ask you again from hence do you derive your own sense of morality and Ethics? It’s a rhetorical question really, one that each person has to try to answer for him or her self.

God’s work with Humans is progressive, and individualistic... thru history in the macro sense and via the Spirit in the personal sense. The Bible says the nations are nothing, it’s individual people that God looks to save.

They were GENOCIDE and no amount of your denial will change that simple fact. Genocide in a war is still GENOCIDE.

The Golden Rule and the concept of reciprocity can be be found in many civilizations across time and geography. I’ve yet to find a moral basis that can be bettered.

The original article claims that genocide is a direct result of Darwin’s theories. Since genocide existed prior to Darwin and, in some cases, was divinely ordered, it’s clear that the article is in error.

I would avoid using the logical fallacy Leo Strauss dubbed argumentum ad Hitlerum (argument to Hitler) or reductio ad Hitlerum (reduction to Hitler).

Keep in mind Godwin's Law:
“As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.”

Hitler is a good example of a man turned monster. That’s why all the vehemence against using him as a bad example. Too many people with too many guilty consciences.

The Spirit of God has been at work thru-out history across the span of men and nations but all divine laws and statutes that have worth and value are sourced and are centered in the man who was God in Flesh, Christ Jesus.

If a culture or desperate truth seeking individuals, before the coming of Christ, “groping in the darkness”, happened upon some illuminating truths that God was kind enough to show them, rest assured that those truths originated from the Godhead, made into physical and spiritual reality (being made manifest)in the person of Jesus Christ...God in flesh!

Christ did not just speak the golden rule into existence; before Abraham was, HE IS the living embodiment of the golden rule; expressed by the Father into matter so that men may be forgiven and saved, redeemed from the destruction that is coming!

How does the biblical teaching on slavery square with your assertion regarding the the origin of the Golden Rule?

“...one might get the idea that without your belief in a magic sky-daddy, you’d be a murderer.
..”

technically, you are correct, except without Moral Law, it would not be called that.

“.. your view, everyone who does not believe that ..”

No one really knows how old the earth is. I am a Creationist, so I believe it doesn't have to be very old. The evidence does not support it.

Not believing in God , does not make you a Nazi,or Commie.

However, when you support the opposing view, you invariably give support to their (Nazi) premise.

“...rain storm lasting 40 days and 40 nights created a flood that covered Mt. Everest, or at least Mt. Ararat...”

10 days of localized rain destroys entire communities, Let alone a world wide rain. Also the scriptures say the “fountains of the deep” were broken up. So subterranean water added. Also it is assumption that Everest and Ararat were as high as they are now. (seashells on mountain tops)or that the seafloors were at their present level.

There is definitely enough water on earth to cover it.

Kind of like blaming gravity after throwing people off a cliff.

“..exist if they weren’t trying to reign in basic human nature...”

Ah, the philosophical argument is where does human nature come from??

And is there an Absolute Moral Law?

“And is there an Absolute Moral Law?”

Where does slavery fit into any such Absolute Moral Law?

mankind will always be in servitude to other men.

It is when the taskmaster treat its debtors as beasts and not human beings (or equals).

Our current government is trying enslave once again....just call it something else!

(my opinion)

typical reactionary response by an atheist apologist. First of all, Darwin, in his own words, said he was out to destroy God. His wife retained her Christian faith but reluctantly edited his stolen thesis. As far as real, helpful, contributions. Name me one besides fantasy classification systems. All evolution has ever done is pull science-minded people away from true science and submerge them in a atheistic and materialistic world. My third statement is taken from the Bible where it says that someday “Someday every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Please come to your senses and worship the God of Creation before you slip into an eternal morass of darkness because of your blind faith in scientism rather than science!

“the strongest and the fittest are the ones who have the moral imperative to survive and the weak, well, if they get in the way of the “strongest and the fittest”, well then, why not simply remove the “useless eaters”. They are a drag on the state and the healthy.”

That has nothing to do with Darwin.
