I beg all of us here on Free Republic to STOP the dogpiling on Sandra Fluke.
No joke.
Don't follow Rush's bad example.
Name-calling will get us NOWHERE.
Remember the much better example of the woman at the well, and how Jesus dealt with her. That's a MUCH better way to behave.
Absolutely right.
It’s sad that you didn’t read that I was corrected and accepted the correction. However, I do believe that ‘sin no more’ would be His response to the other woman. As if He’d encourage sin?
“I was raised to never call a woman a slut or a prostitute, even if she is. Some verbal attacks serve no good and make you look bad.”
Have you read what Rush really said, or are you taking as truth what the Hussein Heads say Rush said?
I think you nailed it.
Fluke was not a woman appearing at the messiah’s well when she went before congress to demand their approval of her sinful ways.
I see nowhere in any passages where Jesus condones believers to make payments for other’s sins.
You are All taking this defiling of the good name of Saint Sandra far too seriously!
This thread just needs a modicum of Friday humor...
Q: What’s the difference between Sandra Fluke and a toilet?
A: You could probably eat a toilet if you had to.
A2: A toilet probably spreads fewer STD’s.
A3: A toilet doesn’t expect you to feed it contraception - and pay for it.
A4: There is no shame when others find out you just used a toilet...
Feel free to add yours... It’s Friday after all.
You got it all wrong. She is an operative for the occupation. Nice that you were played.
LOL - I know...
I tend to ramble on and get as many points as possible in on one post :>)
Heck, I’ve never been on the pill - and I’m Protestant!
(My stance - If insurance doesn’t cover for condoms they shouldn’t pay for the pill either - but that’s just me:)
fishtank,
I rebuke your use of this passage as false and misleading.
At no point did Sandra Fluke seek forgiveness or the kingdom of God in her testimony. In fact, she radically demands we accept, provide, and support her in her continued sins.
Dogpile on Sandra Fluke? She is the perfect example of the warped thinking that invades our culture and many well meaning liberal christian thinkers.
You're right, especially when the generics can be purchased for $9 per month, if not less...
And since when did the cost of contraceptives become a major issue of debate for students attending a $50k + per year university?
As I said in a previous post, this was a planned attack by the dems which started with George Stephanopoulos back in January......
And furthermore, my own insurance company, complete with drug coverage, does not cover voluntary contraceptives. And if you recall, contraceptives were first developed with the intent of allowing married couples to enjoy the sanctity of their marriages until the time they were ready to have children.
Unfortunately, with that wonder drug came free sex and promiscuity for all..........
“Remember the much better example of the woman at the well, and how Jesus dealt with her. That’s a MUCH better way to behave.”
Isn’t that the same plan the Republicans have that helped
get us into the situation we are in now? The lying broad has
it coming. Still no reason to be off-color about it.
Yes, but the woman at the well was ashamed of her behavior!
We all know this was set up and playing out as the left, including the media, has planned. The question is what will they do next. You know they have a whole scenio planned. I know it will be difficult for conservatives to think such evil thoughts, but if you were an evil manipulator of people who only read the headlines, watch reality shows, and think Bill Maher is a real newscaster, what would you do?
You, like Santorum and Boehner, completely missed a perfectly good opportunity to clam up.
My first impression when I saw the photos and video was that she looked way too comfortable behind the microphone. You know, like she'd done that before, and it was no big deal. A "real" young coed would be more nervous and less poised, in all likelihood.
The woman caught in adultery surreneder to Jesus and repented of her sinful life.
I cannot imagine a worse comparison - not a point of similarity.
Yes, she’s a plant, yes it was planned, yes they are putting the screws on the church, yes insurance shouldn’t even cover the pill, yes, yes, yes.....
I just think Rush blew it with the way he went around to call it out...pondering her apparent boisterous proclivities because of the cost of her lots-o-sex pills....
A thousand bucks worth of condoms a year digs into her drama queen staged moment...calling her out on her numbers and her stance on it.....Heck, today I don’t think he even called her a liberal (I was in and out of the car)
I love Rush, I have to defend him all the time; I live in New England!
Now I have to explain that “No, Rush doesn’t think women who take the pill are floozies” Ugh.....
Radio transcript,(word by word)
LIMBAUGH: "What does it say about the college coed Susan Fluke [sic], who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex? What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex.
She's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We're the pimps.
The johns, that's right. We would be the johns -- no! We're not the johns. Well -- yeah, that's right. Pimp's not the right word."
OK, so, she's not a slut. She's round-heeled. I take it back
Urban Dictionary: round-heeled definition: characteristic of a woman who is prone to assume a supine position. Also: (a "round-heeled woman" was once slang for a prostitute )
Listen to Rush here when he made the comments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfb9f7yFYgw
Gotta get inside the enemy’s head.
My guess is to find some vocal apostate clergy...that shouldn’t be hard with the “Religious Coalition for Reproductive Freedom”.
