n his New York Times bestselling book, Throw Them All Out, Breitbart editor Peter Schweizer revealed how members of Congress enrich themselves and their relatives using earmarks and insider information. Now, the Washington Post, following in Schweizers footsteps, has conducted a study that found 16 members of Congress have used their power of the purse to benefit companies, colleges, and community groups tied to their relatives.

We've just GOT to clean 'em ALL out! New blood needed.
Sarah Palin - CPAC 2012: "The Washington of the permanent political class should not be the playground for the government rich, a place where millionaires are minted overnight.
... Target for election removal
Dammit... Bill Young is my Rep, and he’s an embarrassment. He’s an entrenched Republican. Been in office for a long time.
Time for rope, tar and feathers. Screw this voting crap!
Lets not lose sight of what happens to them after they leave office.

Cuts quite a swath and indeed they need replacing. I’m embarrassed that several from the great state of Texas are guilty of this.
Sheila Jackson Lee just about takes the prize for her largesse to family and connections. Disgusting!
bumping for later...

Why do people spend millions to get a job that pays in the low six figures?
If it isn’t obvious that there’s lots of money to be made.
This has got to come to an end. One way or another.............
He sure iS .. incomparably powerful ... TOO
powerful. They become rich snobs on our backs
and their alleged fiduciary duties to protect
us. OUT!
Look at Kay Granger.
Don’t forget their “market crushing” returns on insider stock trading, also.
Surpise Rep. Clyburn (Rat’-SC) isn’t on the list.....How much is getting your daughter a seat on the FCC worth??
My favorite, but this one was good too.
We send them here to clean out the swamp and they find a hot tub. Time to drain the Jacuzzi.
I know! I’m ready to clean house!

“Why do people spend millions to get a job that pays in the low six figures?”
One of congress is made up of lawyers. The question to ask is what good lawyer would settle for $175,000 per year salary. The answer is NONE. Congress has evolved into the most sophisticated organized crime syndicate this world has ever known. The worst of it all they get to write the laws such as exemption from insider trading. We need to start with forbidding any gifts, etc.. from lobbyists and stop congress from stock trading. Read Abramoffs book on lobbying it is just as damning as ‘throw them all out’. These books should be mandatory reading in our schools.
Not really surprising is it that our two are on the earmark porker enrich themselves list?
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D - Miss.)
Earmark near personal property: $900,000!
Sen. Roger Wicker (R - Miss.)
Earmark near personal property: $1.5 million Spending with family connections: $45 million!!!!!
Yup!!
