And then there were three and a half minds left campaigning for the Republican presidential nomination: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul.
Hosted by CNN's John King at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Count me in too. I am in full agreement with your sentiment.
Santorum:
Voted AGAINST increasing the number of immigration investigators:

It’s a crap shoot whether any of the three can beat Obama. At least with Newt as the nominee we get that absolute pleasure of watching him eviscerate Obama in the debates and every time a microphone is put in front of his mouth.

Newt with his brand of amnesty. Good grief.
Gingrich would have credit card companies run ID systems for illegals, because there would be no fraud.
BS
Credit card companies have a certain percentage they write off each year — because of fraudulent use of credit cards.
Puh-lease... Karl Marx was more conservative than Obama.
So Newt says not to deport illegals if they’re grandmas and grandfathers who’ve lived here for a certain amount of time?
Terrible RINO answer.
DEPORT ALL OF THEM!
Feel better soon onyx! You are an FR treasure.
Good thing Paul aligned himself with dems to prove his point. He’s a loon.
Newt did an amazing job of answering the illegal immigration question - Mitt just tries to differentiate somehow. I don’t know how this will play. I can’t wait to hear how Rick and Ron answer this.
Romney just repeated everything Gingrich just said.
I thought he gave great, practical, specific solutions. Romney is giving generalities that are essentially based on Gingrich’s answers.
Notice they didn't come out for Newt 3 months ago. They had lots to mull over. Some of us are still mulling over it, it is too dang important not to. Newt has some big issues that deserve to thought over. I personally have issues with his immigration stances. It weights on my mind heavily and as I listen to the debate it doesn't get much better. He again reinforces that he will not support removing illegals and making even more yearly legal US citizens per year. We already have close to 2 million a year and he wants more.
The MasterCard, American Express, Visa hiring comment is brilliant.
This whole thing -other than the beginning - is MIND NUMBINGLY boring.....
Unfortunately, Romney answering it well also.
Santorum back to his "son of immigrants" story. Oy. Rick is dead in the water. Painful to watch.
No kidding, what next, “What would you apologize for?
The illegal immigrant horse is dead!
