Perry made it very clear during the debate, that any change would NOT affect those currently receiveing SS or those near it, only the younger generation, would wouldn’t get anything under the current system, by the time they get there.
Just neither Fox News nor other stations play the full clip, more fun to just play the “Ponzi scheme” part alone.
Palin agreed with Perry that SS needs to be reformed and the current system is unsustainable.
Faint praise is perhaps the biggest rebuke.
So, which flip flopping Perry was it this time?
Perhaps it’s more like she had time to polish her answers as part of the show prep than better rhetorical instinct. He doesn’t need her assistance to clarify what he said. She’s a paid employee of Fox who spends a few minutes a week discussing what’s happening in politics and current events. There’s a big difference between a debate with a minute to make a point and a segment on a program where there’s more time hash things out.

Perry doubled down on the Ponzi scheme rhetoric that made it an easy soundbite that could be used against him.
I just happen to think that Palin’s rhetoric on the matter has been more skilled than Perry’s so far.
Who ever said that Palin was rebuking Perry about the issue? She said that SS was a ponzi scheme awhile back as well.....she was clarifying his statements which he didn’t properly expound. Some around here claim that he was in a hostile environment and couldn’t answer the question fully; that’s silly since he had to know that question about SS was going to be asked and he could have hit the main points. That’s not saying that he was wrong, he was and is right about SS
That's an interesting opinion. But the real question is whether or not Palin supporters will continue to try and torpedo Perry's campaign if he wins the nomination.

I’m not sure which is more sad... you not getting the name of the FOX commentator right on a video allegedly supporting your boy, or the fact that Sarah Palin has to clarify Rick’s words.
