Actually, Perry agrees with Palin that SS needs to be reformed and the current system is unsustainable. She’s been talking about these issues long before Perry looked beyond the borders of Texas.

That’s true, but that doesn’t mean she has been talking about it longer than he has been talking about it.
Perry did write a book about it. Of course, Palin also wrote two books.
