DAMN
Matthew 24:6 does come to mind.
Also 2 Chron 7:14 - 21.
OBAMA: “We need a GAZILLION TRILLION BILLION stimulus bill to retrofit and earthquake-proof EVERY CITY east of the Mississippi, and oh, yeah, baby..to create lots of good paying jobs..”
I’m sure other New Yorkers have said they felt it (haven’t read all 400 posts). The walls in my tenth floor office were creaking and water towers across the street were shaking back and forth.
God, no!.
Angelinos freak out about a simple rain shower.
And Kona....the Japanese fish market early in the AM!!! Black sand beaches and the macadamia nut plantation!!!
What a place!
Shaka!!
Any breathless reportage fm Marther's vineyard yet?
I wuz :)
A little difference in reaction when you’re dealing with folks who have never felt one before - especially with the entire seaboard not being built to withstand a heavy earthquake... I don’t blame them for being freaked out.
From what I hear the folks at the Pentagon thought it was a bomb or something... Also, my friend on VA Beach got a Tsunami warning and evacuated a bit ago.
I understand Californians brushing this off, but what may be minor to you guys, isn’t necessarily minor for those on the East Coast... It’s kind of like how schools NEVER seem to close up here in N. WI even when there’s 5 ft. of snow but, go to Tennessee and the schools close early when there’s only a TRACE of snow on the roads...
A new call for 3 trillion for infrastructure inspectors
will be called for to make sure all of DC is without any cracks in the sidewalks.
Inspector America will have a 2 hour special on cable.

Joya . . . parents’ area quake
So there are dangerous faults on the east coast. I knew about the Madrid fault...but I wasn’t aware of those on the east coast. Yikes.
\ Earthquake on Tuesday, Hurricane on Friday..............looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.....................
Two Nuclear plants have been ‘taken offline’.
Don’t know if that means ‘knocked’ offline or not?
Landlines and cells disrupted, that’s kind of weird, no? And shutting down any airports...never mind the big ones. How can they do that for a 5.8 quake?
I have in-laws in Louisa. Any damage?
That inspires a new tagline
Right I hope...
Actually, I hope that is a false report.
In the pentagon. Scary!
Yeah, I feel left out.
