They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

Thinking good thoughts and praying for you. God bless and whatever decision is made by the Drs...we hope and pray their hands are guided by our Lord but our real prayer is for you to indeed leave that hospital with your leg intact.

Howdy everyone!
Just got a great report from the doctor. The surgeon examined my leg last night and gave his opinion that unless the bone is infected, it won’t have to come off now. The x-rays they took yesterday should tell them whether or not it goes to the bone. Will know later today. The doc says they may be able to just run a course of antibiotics and then I can go home. The bad news is the ulcer probably will not heal and if it continues growing, then the pain will increase. The surgeon said unless it gets badly infected, the leg won’t have to come off until I’m ready, but eventually it will have to come off. Praying it gets better. Oh, yeah, and he said they’re making arrangements for me to be treated at the wound care specialist’s clinic. She’s the one of ten doctors who thinks it can be saved. The chaplain came in last night and prayed for healing. It was a beautiful prayer. Had me in tears.
