His therapist?

Restless 11-yr-old boys need medical intervention! Teacher is legally obligated to report symptoms, parents had better DO something or answer to CPS. Then, once the kid's on the books and the parents on the hook, teacher had better report any incidents to the proper authorities. Good heavens, man. There's a FILE somewhere!

Sounds like something that would appear in Calvin and Hobbes (you know, the toy tiger who only comes alive when no adult is present)

C&H once did a Sunday strip in which Calvin fantasized about bombing his elementary school into atoms. There seems to have been a clearer understanding of the difference between drawings and actual violence 25 years ago. Today we have less freedom, in many ways.

Good thing I checked! I was about to post that very thing.

“Cooperation with the police” directly translates as “help them build a case against you”.

Almost feels as if they are conditioning us as a population doesn’t it....

We live in a vast Police State and citizens must learn to comply at an early age or be added to the ever growing inmate population.

Equally plausibly he’s ginning up fear so that some wavery citizen will refuse to say a single word to someone like a trooper who stopped him in traffic, get arrested (when he was probably just going to get a ticket) and then need the pricey lawyer to get him out of the fix.

I beg to differ with both of you. We may do a lot of bad things here in the UK, but we don't put children in handcuffs, and we certainly don't arrest them for drawing skick figures, no matter how "threatening".

If that's what you fought a war for independence for, I think you took a wrong turning somewhere.

Teachers must die. Lot of comments here without facts.

If we are ever on the same jury, will you try to starve me into submission? Probably.
I guess you were born a grownup, but "teachers must die" is not considered extraordinary hate speech among kids.

I’m sure there’s a much less sinister interpretation of what you just said, so I’m going to avoid jumping to the wrong conclusion and simply ask for more details.

Nothing sinister. Don't go jumping to conclusions.

I recently saw a comment from a German who had lived in America around 1985 and liked it. Then they went back home, only to return recently to have another look. I paraphrase: "What did you people do to your country? You used to be free! Twenty-five years ago, America was a great place, now it's like living in a police state!"

But, like the frog in the pot of water, many Americans have no idea that things have changed.

Not every sheriff’s department in the land, thankfully, has that kind of chip on their shoulder.

I'm sure you're correct, but you won't know until after the fact if you should have talked to them or not, so I think the advice in the video in post 7 is valid.

I heard various pieces of doggerel among elementary school kids in my pubskewl years, to the effect of doing various vile or violent things to teachers. Usually the kids did not even get scolded for it, it was the same ole same ole childish hyperbole and everybody knew it.

Dude, we're against all this, all us REAL Americans. We have a Soviet Socialist Fascist Police State in place, as of the last few years.... Reagan actually (accidently) set things in motion with the War on Drugs. We used to be free, but we no longer are.

However.

That said, your country has gone completely, merrily insane. You give nobody the means of protecting themselves (with effective firearms), import Jihadists by the 100,000's, and prosecute those who dare resist criminal assault and theft.

Wow...is that really the case? Are the cops the real "enemy" where you come from? Are they so completely out of touch with those they are supposed to "serve and protect"?

Incidentally, you do realise by following that advice you forfeit all right to complain about soaring crime figures, falling detection rates, and spiralling police costs?

He's charged with a third degree misdemeanor, interfering with staff and students at an educational facility.

Completely bogus charge(show me the inereference), but at least now he's 'in the system'. More raw material for the justice industry.

Well, I hope you never ever get stopped by a trooper in traffic, because your silence WILL get you arrested, then you’ll need to pay the nice lawyer who made you feel all good about doing that....

If you send your child to government school, you risk having him come home as a felon! ( With all the consequences that has for the rest of his life.)

If government schools look like a prison duck, walk like a prison duck, and quack like a prison duck, they **ARE** prisons!

Every time you drive by a government school, please ask yourself the following:

** Does that building look like a minimum security prison?

** Are the children treated like prisoners?

** Are there metal detectors, locker searchers, sniff dogs?

** Do alpha girls and bullies rule?

** Are the children divided into prison protection gangs with identifying clothing and symbols ( cliques)?

** Are there “lock-downs”?

** Do armed and unarmed guards rule the lives of the inmates ( uniformed and in plain clothes)?

** Are there routine public announcements over loud speakers?

** Are they told by government employees when to speak or be silent, to assemble and with whom, to publish or not, to use the exercise yard, to eat and where, and use the bathroom?

** Are the children forbidden free expression of their religion?

** Are they subjected to government godless thought control?

** Are they marched around in tight little segregated groups to the sounds of bells?

** Does the transport look like prison buses? “

You had time to watch that?

No. Because I started the video right after I posted and it is still on 8 min into a 40 min video.

Justice Jackson of the SCOTUS had the right idea.

You have the wrong idea.

You will never talk yourself out of getting arrested. Incriminating evidence is used against you, exculpatory evidence is hearsay. Everything you say to the Police can and WILL be used against you, nothing you say to the Police can be used for you. It cannot help.

The more you talk to them, the more they can build a “perjury trap” even if they are the ones who have to commit the perjury.

If you are going to get arrested and prosecuted, better to remain silent until they are obligated to “show their cards” as to the case they built against you, instead of letting them build a case based upon their recollections of what you supposedly said.

Only 12 min into a 48 min video.

Watch it unless your mind is already so made up that evidence and legal arguments cannot change it.

Sure, a cop knocks and I give him the prescribed two question quiz then GET OUTTA HERE, then fortunately I actually see the creep and I grab my gun... only to get grabbed by the occifer if I’m lucky, shot if I’m not.

Is there something about the Wisconsin idiocy that is radiating out through the land into the minds of people who would normally know better?
