Fox News has joined the MSM today in ignoring the March for Life. I checked the websites of Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Daily Caller, and Big Government. Nothing on their home pages about the March for Life, which, by some estimates, attracted some two million people, many of them young people, from around the country.
FAIL.
LOL! Make that “IT” was very weird and off-putting.
People still don’t get it, they are looking for the same thing, complete control of its subjects. More big money telling the idiot population what it wants it to know.
I can’t often do that kind of trip, but I did go on the March for Life with a group from our church some years ago. There were about 500,000 of us that year. The buses filled the stadium parking lot where we were taken.
The media basically ignored it. The NY Times ran a back page story with two photos, one a carefully taken picture of right-to-lifers and the other a “matching” picture of the 20 or 30 pro-aborts who staged a counter march. No photos suggesting the size of the crowd, of course.
Well...If getting publicity is the goal then I am calling the March for Life STUUUUUPID!!!!
Suggestion:
**March in New York directly in front of the doors of the mainstream media. Make it hard for these guys and gals to get to work.
** How about a peaceful and silent vigil in front of the homes of the CEOs of these media outlets? I suggest that the participants wear black, put tape across their mouths, and stare at these guys and gals leave for work. What if they all spontaneously decided to quietly and peacefully lie down in the streets? Nap time anyone?
**Or...Learn from the young people who communicate with cell phone and twitter. What about spontaneous flash mobs to congregate where these guys and gals meet?
Make that a completely peaceful, quiet, and lawful assembly of flashmobbers.
And it's going to remain "not news" till the good-hearted chumps that are the pro-life demonstrators take a page from the MLK playbook, making it a matter of massive non-violent civil disobedience. This "keep-of-the-grass" approach is just middle class feel-goodism. As a political tactic, it's BS. We won't get any respect till we become a pain in the rump. Right now all we have is their contempt.
Wintertime - Those are some great ideas! FWIW, a lot of the people who attend March for Life do meet with their legislators while they are in DC.
My son tweeted from the event: “How can the Hill ignore this?”
They can and do, for now. But the outpouring of support from so many young people is a good sign. Think about the effect (to the detriment of our country) that young people had during the Vietnam War era. It can happen again to reverse the judicial activism of the past.
LOL! People here still bleiev Prince Al Waleed’s Fox News is our friend or that ANYONE in TV is our friend. ALL TV is s***.
FNC features far more RINOs, neocons and liberals than true conservatives.
Ever wonder if Joe Buck has some compromising photos of Rupert Murdoch? They use “Mr. Monotone” for everything.
It looks like FR ignored it too. where are the posts?
Fox News interviewed several people live in the march today. I saw it.
They were covering it on their noon show when I was home for lunch.
The Bishop’s were caught off guard by the huge response from young people. My Bishop tweeted this, this morning and he was in awe. The youth movement is growning.

LIAR.
Fox news has had several airings and even live interviews at the scene!
Why did they have it on a weekday? The actual anniversary was Saturday. C-Span would have probably covered it live had it been on Saturday.
Fox also reported on the march during “Special Report” this afternoon.
