Okay, I am reading replys of this thread but...so many of us were FR down during the memorial “rally” and had to hear via radio while at an alternative site. I am confused.
You’ve got to be joking! This poor excuse for a memorial service is nothing but a bunch of self-centered attention-getters patting themselves on their backs for their actions or deeds and not honoring the victims.
Starting with this flake Indian medicine man with his feathers wrapped in a red cowboy bandana and his jibberish “blessing” mentioning the “north, south, etc.” whatever-he-was-talking-about that makes no sense to the college student that can’t stop going on every TV show that wants to call him a hero and he never corrects any of them by saying “I was just being a decent human being that did what every other person in the same situation would have done” to the obnoxious ass-kissing college president with a PHd that can’t figure out that he’s not at a pep rally before the big game and it goes on and on and on....
speechless again; an abjectly shallow and manipulative speech.
“Crass” and “Depraved” were acrually the first two adjectives to come to mind.
The gathered grieved, the mark; Zero, the grifter.
FR was down again?
She was probably just shocked to have the death panel walk into her room.

People on another site reminded me of that puddles in heaven bit - I swear I’ve hear that before somewhere. BTW, I thought it was one of the WORST parts of the speech. Like something from a very special episode of “The Facts of Life” with a very special message. If he was aiming for Reagan’s Challenger speech, no comparison whatsoever.
...disgusting.

As soon as I heard the cheers when The One(tm) entered, it was obvious where this was going. THEY FILLED THE HALL WITH OBAMA-FAINTER STUDENTS. I wonder how many of the professors offered “extra credit” if they went and cheered The One(tm).
Next up will be one leftist after another calling on the GOP to “tone it down” and “stop the hate rhetoric” when it’s time to gut funding for The One(tm)’s agenda. Wait and see.
Now that the carpetbagger Sestak is finally out, I’ll be keeping a close eye on my new congresscritter. After tonight I’m even more determined that NOT ONE SINGLE THING that these leftists want gets a single penny of funding. It isn’t time to take a chainsaw to the budget — it’s time to move up to a BFG9000.
In light of my recent comment:
I saw this thread earlier (BUT original source “Ace of Spades blog” could not confirm it came from BHO:

NOW THIS:

We get a lot of that.
It will always make one wonder?
Obama finals farewell to grandma Toot!
It's a disgrace. In what should have been a show of respect for the dead, Obama has succeeded in turning into a self promoting freak show.
I hate to see anyone die , its very sad to see it happen , but I sure hope nothing really bad happens , but come on people you think we are going thru another 9-11 this is about votes nothing more , and thats the sad part about. How many times has this happen before how about colorado , ft hood , and the list can go on and on I don’t think oklahoma city got this much press , this whole thing is way over blown . may the lord watch over the families that lost love ones and may the lord grant a quick recovery to the ones that was not killed.Amen
I caught the last 10 minutes of Obama’s speech and noticed he made no effort to quell the outburst of applause, whistling, cheers, and shout-outs - nothing to quiet the crowd into the solemnity the memorial warranted.
Along with the 2012 campaign slogan “Together we Thrive”, I got the impression this was more about promoting Obama than memorializing those killed.
this is the only thing it brought to mind:
NO cheers, unfortunately. Pray for the families.
