Wilmington, Delaware (CNN) -- Police have found homicide victim John Wheeler's cell phone, according to a taxi driver who was interviewed by investigators this week.

Athel Scott told CNN National Correspondent Susan Candiotti that police told him they found the cab driver's number in the phone of Wheeler, the former Pentagon official who was found dead in a Delaware landfill. He said investigators wanted to know how his number got there. Scott... says he told the police he didn't have any idea.

"I never got a call from the man. I don't know him... He's never been in my cab. I don't know how my number got in his cellphone," Scott says he told police...

His eyes were bloodshot. His questions didn’t make sense and he was talking to himself....ALL are symtoms of head trama/ being hit on the head when mugged...a very good reason he might be “wandering”.

He wasn’t drunk, but is still trying to solve problems. Remember the DRs in AZ emphasise that with a head injury it gets worse in the first three days as the head swells? It would explain why his behavior seemed to get “worse”.

Hi! Lucy, I am still not able to get Pings or Private Mail. I can see that I have some, but when I click to open them the pages are blank. Same as when I try to check out my preferences.

I have asked JimRob several times since Jan 6th if he could do anything about it or let me know what I need to do to tweak the system. I have not received a single response back from him. This is getting frustrating.

If I want to know what is going on, on particular threads I put in a posters name to see what they are talking about. That is how I found this thread.

Do you know if anyone else is have the same kind of problem?

You might try clearing cache, deleting cookies, reboot, and login again. Sometimes clears strange problems like that.

Some how they trace the smoke bombs to Wheeler, maybe receipts...Maybe on his card that someone else used. OTOH he may have purchased some for his own use if rodents are a problem in the area and others (the contractor or one of his employees purchased the ones in the house)

If there is a rodent or insect problem, any new construction will stir them up even more. It might prove useful to ask around the neighborhood if others were having an increase in the problem.

It's against the law to put anything in a fire lane. The construction company or whomever could get their rear ends sued off for that. You're right, wonder why it's there.

As I remember it, the man who admitted to breaching the passport files worked for John Brennan, Obama’s head of national security. Brennan was at the time, handling Obama’s campaign security. The man who breached the files, (his name might have been Harris) was cooperating with the FBI and was waiting in his car for a secret meeting with an FBI official, when he was shot by a sniper and killed. End of story, end of passport breaching investigation.

Ashley Turton’s death is most bizarre. If my car started burning after bumping something in my garage, I would get out fast. She was found dead in her vehicle. I don’t know anyone who speeds in or out of a garage fast enough to cause injury so severe that traps one in a car.
