The videotaped Alaska camping trip between reality star Kate Gosselin and political personality Sarah Palin was a 'nightmare,' a source told the National Enquirer.
According to the tabloid, Gosselin lasted just two hours in the woods, before storming off in tears. The story suggests Gosselin acted like a 'diva' upon finding out about the bathroom situation. For the record, Palin pleaded for her to stay.

Since I haven’t read the article I wonder if the 8 children were there also? If so, I can only imagine it was more than a bit hectic, and may explain some of Kate’s reactions.

I'm a Palin supporter, as well, but she's not the be all and end all of politics. I think she'll make a terrific President, if and when she decides to run, because she DOES love America, and all the country stands for, and she has a positive attitude toward our nation.
If she decides she doesn't want to put her family through that, I'd understand completely, and I wouldn't be angry with her for making that decision. I'd especially enjoy watching her eviscerate the Dems from the sidelines. She's doing an awesome job of that, right now, and that's why she's 'living rent free in their heads'. It's a wonder to behold!

Do you really think that the kids weren't there too Oh, no, I DO think they were there. I just found it strange they weren't addressed in the discussions of the article, and since I hadn't read that part just wondered if in fact they weren't there, and maybe Jon had them.

Bad judgement is becoming a Palin family trait.
They planned to do something and went and did it. Another person, Kate, couldn't handle it and "stormed off in tears." So the Palins had a higher estimation of her character than she merited. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt is "bad judgement"?

Get the facts before making ass-brained comments.
Sarah's show is on TLC, which produces Kate's show. This is a cross-promotion.
This is NOT Sarah's idea, it is the network's idea.
God, you people act just like libtards when the subject is Palin.

Yes, it is strange that the kids weren't mentioned in the article.
My point is that it might have been done for a reason. Most people like the eight Gosslin kids. Most people hate the mom, Kate.
An article that describes Palin paling around with the bitchy Kate elicits negative feelings. An article that describes Palin taking time to camp with eight darling kids draws forward positive feelings.
And as some of the responses in this thread shows (not yours), "feelings" do matter.

I am fast coming to the conclusion that all our so-called political leaders are complete morons--on both sides.
I'm in favor of a new constitution where we pick 700 people at random every four years to run the country. We can't possibly do worse than what we have now.

I’m not sure who you are referring to when you say “you people”, but you people who defend Sarah no matter what are doing her a disservice.
If Sarah has ambitions of being president, she needs to start acting presidential. Reality shows with Kate Gosselin don’t pass that test.
By the way, I am a Palin supporter, which is why I’m critical of her when she is a bonehead.

Yes, doing a reality show with Kate is bad judgment. Why is that so hard for you to accept?

Because that is your opinion. The hard part for you to accept is that only a small minority here cares what you say.

I think that "you people" who attack her no matter what are doing a bigger disservice. Get over it.
