The scandal of the aftermath of the vicious political attack on Alexandra "Allee" Bautsch, the chief fundraiser for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and her boyfriend, Joe Brown, as they left a Republican fundraiser attended by three GOP governors (Jindal, Rick Perry of Texas and Haley Barbour of Mississippi) April 9th has taken a sickening turn as a report has surfaced that some in the Lousiana GOP are giving Bautsch what amounts to a second beating by starting a whispering campaign that she "earned" the attack with her "sassy mouth."
Blogger Pat Dollard, who has been working the story of the attack, Tweeted last night accusing some in the Louisiana GOP of saying that Bautsch deserved the attack and that he's confirmed the Louisiana "Republican establishment" is trying to "shut down the Allee Bautsch story." His report is in contrast to a statement by Louisiana GOP Chairman Louis Villere, Jr.--who has not blamed Bautsch for the attack--that he was pursued without provocation by protesters outside the same event where Bautsch and Brown were later attacked.
Dollard's report lends credence to what a reporter who is also working the story told me on background last week, that the scuttlebutt was that people were going to be saying Bautsch has a "big mouth" and "may have brought the attack on herself."
Dollard's Tweets:
"I have verification that the Republican establishment in Louisiana is trying to shut down the Allee Bautsch story."

Gov. Jindal has been noticably silent on the maiming of his aide, issuing a brief statement three days after the attack when it first became public and later sending out his spokesman to deny a report that the couple was wearing Sarah Palin pins when attacked. Curiously, the New Orleans police also waited three days until the attack became public to open a criminal investigation.
Bautsch's mother, Della Berning, says her daughter's leg was stomped and broken in four places by protesters who were part of an anti-Republican protest organized by leftists who followed the couple from Brennan's restaurant, the scene of the fundraiser.
Bautsch's wounds required a rod and seven screws to be implanted in her leg. Brown suffered a broken nose and jaw and as well as a concussion that gave him problems with remembering details of the attack.
According to the police report, which is based on Brown's beating-induced foggy memory, the attackers yelled things like, " "Little blonde bitch," "You're a f------- faggot," and "You think you're f------ special."
Bautsch's mother told Fox News, "...things were said to my daughter and to her boyfriend that basically everything was about money. From the time they were walking out of the restaurant things were being said to them."
Berning told Yahoo News that Brown and her daughter have told her they were attacked by protesters who followed them as they left the fundraiser at Brennan's.
The host of the fundraiser, Louisiana Republican Chairman Roger Villere, Jr., said in an intrview that he was targeted and pursued by protesters as he tried to leave the fundraiser. He and his group had to leave out the back as the protesters had blocked the entrance to Brennan's. When the protesters spotted them, Villere and his group fled to a taxi and made their escape. Bautsch and Brown weren't as lucky.
Some conservative bloggers and reporters have hurt their reputations with their condescending efforts to play down the political basis for the attack on Bautsch and Brown.
Pat Dollard spoke for many last night when he Tweeted:
Welcome to the Stockholm Syndrome of the Republican Establishment, and the Elites of the Conservative Blogging Establisment who prop 'em up.

And
I'm getting the feeling that the elites in the Conservative blogging establishment are as useless as the elites in the GOP.

With the mainstream media feeling no pressure to pursue the story, it's no wonder some in the Louisiana GOP are not afraid to blame the victim.
Fortunately, The Hayride, Free Republic, Human Events, Gateway Pundit, Big Government, Lincoln Parish News Online, Tennessee Conservative, Big Journalism and Pat Dollard have maintained their independence from GOP and MSM approval and reported the story as it developed.
While late to the story, Fox News and Megyn Kelly get credit for interviewing Bautsch's mother last Friday and for booking The Hayride's Scott McKay to be on about 2:10 p.m. EDT today.
Lol, and they thought SHE had a sassy mouth!!
[Without winning the Freepers and Tea Party will have no power or effect]
There may be tea party people winning elections in small towns, like in mine, that we don’t hear much about. But it will have an effect.
City surveillance videos must have captured the beating. If these tapes were released and broadcast/covered on MSM like the DC Capitol steps crap then what? People would come unglued. All other Government actions would cease until this issue was addressed. Good luck with that.
“Bill Clinton must have advised the DNC Brownshirts on this strategy.”
Good thing he’s all over talk radio for having caused this attack. /massive sarc
“Neither Michelle Malkin or AllahPundit, as of this writing, have bothered to acknowledge, even in passing, the increasingly self-evident wrongness of their haughty earlier dismissals of this story... so: yep.
Sad, ain’t it?”
+++++++++++++++++++
Hard to admit when you’re wrong. AllahPundit wrote that he felt the story had ‘lost interest’ among his readers, as if that’s the criteria for pursuing the truth. Come on AP and Michelle - we have higher standards and expectations of you than that! And we all need to admit when we’re wrong sometimes!!
‘Before that time, there was no security or police at the restaurant despite the presence of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, Texas Governor Rick Perry, and at least one congressman. The mob had been building for a couple of hours, she added.’

Does this just seem insane to anyone else?
We should go over there and tell them to report on this!

“trys to makes the focus of the story a side show about a GOP infight”
Are Michelle Malkin and HotAir part of the Alinsky strategy employed by the RATS? lol...
I think it’s just tough to have the guts to stand up and lead. Jindal is missing that window, as are other GOP leaders and Malkin.
Not qualified for position.
You have it exactly right. The thih=gs have been put iin play, and the GOP is not equal to the task. The COPS? The NOPD is inept on this kind of investigation , and the State Police are being kept away by Jindal.
This was a cvil rights violation. If the couple were black dems the FBI would be investigating already.
The message is clear. The tea party must now organize a nationwide security function.
And the likes of those who will terrorize conservatives are the SEIU, Community organizers and Anarchists like these. See their site:

Jindal is the “leader” whose aide was attacked. If he says nothing, then no others are in a position to take the lead. The appearance is that a group of organized far left anti-government thugs attacked two groups of Republicans who were leaving an advertised Republican meeting. One group was chased, the other caught and beaten. There were several Republican governors at the meeting and although there was an organized demonstration outside, there was no police protection. These demonstrators could have attacked the restaurant, taken hostages, or done whatever they wanted. This could have endangered not only the Republican meeting but everyone at the restaurant.
Now that this has happened and it was not covered in the media, this group and others will be emboldened to further frighten milk toast Republicans into silence and submission with more acts of violence.
Meanwhile, liberal pundits attack Gov. Palin for marking up a map of Congressional districts and Glenn Beck for listing people on a chalkboard and call it sedition, fomenting revolution, and advocating violence. What Republican potential candidate or group comes to their defense? No one. The same great thinkers who ran McCain’s campaign must be making these decisions to remain silent, to not make waves, and to hide as best they can.
Call a press conference! Show the media what violence is. Get the black tea partier who was beaten up, show the blond lady whose leg was smashed, Have the Republicans who were chased from the restaurant tell their story, show the video of the eggs being thrown at the Tea Party bus, show the blatent infiltration attempts to discredit the Tea Parties. Don’t hide the truth from the people.
These people can’t stand the light being shined on them. They have no incidents of Tea Party people or Republicans beating up on anyone. They can not counter except with provable lies. Yes, we could have a press conference if we had leadership.
Yes! Please add me to that ping list! It seems I agreed before I knew I agreed, LOL.
Agree completely.
Same view of Bobby Jindal here. I got no use for him politically.
I expect much more out of the Republican Governor for starters.
Kine of like Pawlenty with Franken eh?
Somewhere in there is a failure of logic.
Yep, now that you mention it.
We are in a political war for the future of this nation. I have no use for moderates, or those too cowardly to fight fire with fire at this point. Be it Jindal in LA, or Pawlenty in Minnesota.
if I broke the legs of every sassy mouthed woman I’ve known I would need a battalion of orthopods
that is no excuse..you don’t beat hell out of women
a little sass makes them fun indicates they might be “verbal” when things get steamy
