I think it’s just tough to have the guts to stand up and lead. Jindal is missing that window, as are other GOP leaders and Malkin.

Jindal is the “leader” whose aide was attacked. If he says nothing, then no others are in a position to take the lead. The appearance is that a group of organized far left anti-government thugs attacked two groups of Republicans who were leaving an advertised Republican meeting. One group was chased, the other caught and beaten. There were several Republican governors at the meeting and although there was an organized demonstration outside, there was no police protection. These demonstrators could have attacked the restaurant, taken hostages, or done whatever they wanted. This could have endangered not only the Republican meeting but everyone at the restaurant.

Now that this has happened and it was not covered in the media, this group and others will be emboldened to further frighten milk toast Republicans into silence and submission with more acts of violence.

Meanwhile, liberal pundits attack Gov. Palin for marking up a map of Congressional districts and Glenn Beck for listing people on a chalkboard and call it sedition, fomenting revolution, and advocating violence. What Republican potential candidate or group comes to their defense? No one. The same great thinkers who ran McCain’s campaign must be making these decisions to remain silent, to not make waves, and to hide as best they can.

Call a press conference! Show the media what violence is. Get the black tea partier who was beaten up, show the blond lady whose leg was smashed, Have the Republicans who were chased from the restaurant tell their story, show the video of the eggs being thrown at the Tea Party bus, show the blatent infiltration attempts to discredit the Tea Parties. Don’t hide the truth from the people.

These people can’t stand the light being shined on them. They have no incidents of Tea Party people or Republicans beating up on anyone. They can not counter except with provable lies. Yes, we could have a press conference if we had leadership.

Well said. I have been wondering when real leadership will arrive. Personally, I am really tired of namby-pamby play nice Republicans.

The left is scared of what they see coming down the road at them, they are in the process of a preempt propaganda effort to win over public opinion. Where, for God's sake is a voice, a voice of courage and truth, a pro-American values voice, a man/woman with leadership skills?

I see no one standing up, I see a lot of running away, flip-flopping, apologies. I like Mrs. Palin, but she cannot alone sound the call. We need someone not afraid to simply explain that unless the left is stopped, we are all going down the toilet.

What a wonderful opportunity this was for Jindal, but like all the rest, he ran and refused to stand up like a man and tell the world what happened, what will happen if this kind of thing is allowed to continue. He is an elected politician, not a leader. Shame on him.
