For a head of state to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of.
Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip seen in Jerusalem tonight as a disastrous humiliation.
After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on Jewish settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisors and “let me know if there is anything new”, a US congressman who spoke to the Prime Minister said today.
“It was awful,” the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting “a hazing in stages”, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House phone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received “the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea”.

I am infuriated and sickened at how 0thugga treated Netanyahu, who is one of the few heads of state I admire and respect greatly. I only wish we had a man of his caliber as president. Instead, we have a piece of slime, no insults meant to actual self-respecting natural slime.
You gotta be kidding... Israeli troops alongside us in Afghanistan or Iraq would not have been exactly helpful.

I was listening to callers earlier and they said this is not a settlement...it is just some apartment buildings needed for people to have a place to live and they have been approved 4 times. More like a zoning matter. Already people living there in the area over 10,000. A settlement is new, this is not a settlement.

I would think the humiliation went to the other side. They didn’t extract anything from Bibi. He was not persuaded.

Obama’s relationship to Muslims is roughly akin to an animal lover’s relationship to a pet. As a Marxist elitist, he has sympathy for them and views their welfare as his mission, but they aren’t quite smart enough to decide their own fate.
Besides, he doesn’t have the personal discipline to be Muslim.

Call him what you will. I have come to the conclusion that he is: a marxist, a racist, an anti-American, and a moslem. I do not believe he was born in America or is even an American citizen.
