This is sorta the way I was thinking when Dole was running against Clinton. I thought it would be ironic if the first baby boomer prez was displaced by a severely wounded WWII vet. Of course Dole did not run a good campaign, did not run on solid conservative planks, and he did not send the boy willie packing.

I'm old school. Give me a guy like Dwight D. Eisenhower. I want a guy like that who understands the world. I don't give a Rats A** about glamour. And besides Obama really isn't a good looking guy. Romney and Scott Brown are much better looking guys than Obama. But who cares? I want the dull guy in the gray suit like Eisenhower who understands economics and how dangerous the world is.
