Andrea Mitchell, identified by NBC News as the network's Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent, this morning joined in the attacks on former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin over the 2008 Republican party's vice-presidential nominee's use of notes written on her hand during an appearance at the Tea Party Nation convention in Nashville this past weekend.
Appearing on MSNBC's the Daily Rundown, Mitchell lampooned Palin by holding up her hand with scribbling on her palm while castigating Palin for criticizing Barack Obama for his reliance on TelePrompTers.
Co-host Chuck Todd, who can usually be found on his knees in front of Obama, surprisingly tried to defend Palin by saying, "We've all done notes."
Mitchell was having none of that, though and insisted this was a capital political offense.

That “Hi Mom” cracks me up every time I see it. It is so Reagan in nature...gentle ridicule.
Back in HS many many years ago when we did extemporaneous speaking competitions, you got to use one note card to speak for 8 or 10 minutes on an issue you drew out of a hat and 20 minutes to prepare. Sarah could talk about natural resources, wildlife management, taxes, health care, the plight of native Americans, The WOT, and on and on quite well with those restrictions. Can you imagine what might dribble out of zippy’s mouth under the same circumstances?
Sarah connects to busy moms, business owners who have to meet a payroll, gun owners, and people who love American in general. Elitists be they politicians or pundits will never ever understand what makes us tick and God willing they will never be able to pull the wool over the eyes of so many as they did in 2008.
