February 07, 2010 Palin 'Would Be Willing' to Take On Obama in 2012

Sarah Palin has President Obama in her sights, telling FoxNews.com she "would be willing" to challenge him in the 2012 presidential race.
The former Alaska governor, in an interview Saturday on the sidelines of the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, said President Obama's "lack of experience" has held him back his first year in office and that she would put her credentials up against his any day.
"I would be willing to if I believe that it's right for the country," Palin said when asked if she would run for president in 2012. She qualified the statement, adding that she sees "many" other potential candidates who are "in as strong or stronger position than I am to take on the White House and if they're in a better position than I in three years, I'll support them."
But the former GOP vice presidential nominee told "Fox News Sunday": "I won't close the door that perhaps could be open for me in the future."
She delivered the keynote address Saturday at the tea party convention, using it to hammer Obama as soft on terrorism. When convention organizer Judson Phillips mentioned the idea of "President Palin" in a question-and-answer session afterward, audience members leapt to their feet and burst into a chant of "Run, Sarah, Run."

This would be Palin versus 0bama.
0bama resigned from his US Senate seat halfway through his term.
Still waiting for a better candidate than Sarah Palin.
If not Palin, then who?
If by the mid-2011 nobody better than Sarah steps up to the plate, then she will likely run. IMO Palin would rather that somebody else do the job, but if the best the GOP can come up with is the usual assortment of over-the-hills, unelectables, and RINOs then she will step up herself -- for the sake of this USA.
Let’s do it! Sarah for President!!!
please. lets get someone experienced to contrast with obama. Newt has a MUCH better track record than Sarah
You can’t put people in a box. Read the Bible and you’d see that God doesn’t operate like that. He does not have the same cookie cutter, mass assembly line, collective plan people divided along gender or racial or whatever lines one feels compelled to draw. Not every woman is called to be a Queen Esther or the Prophetess Deborah. Not every man is called to be a King David or Paul the apostle, who remained single his whole life. Not every man will marry. Not every woman will marry. Not every woman will pursue a career or become the Queen of England. Not every woman will stay homemakers.
God has special plans for every individual and it is on HIS timing and HIS terms that things happen. He’s obviously using Palin AND her family now “for such a time as this.” Perhaps to make a point about teen pregnancy, to make a point about the need to care for those with special needs. Maybe he thinks men have been failures and a gifted woman needs to be raised up to humble them. Who knows. The point is:
NOT every woman is called to be Sarah Palin, but it is extremely vital we do not judge God’s plan for her life based on our own fleshly preconceived notions. God doesn’t work on OUR terms. He works on HIS. And it is clear, that though a sinner like us all, Palin has a vibrant and deep-seated relationship with the Almighty and she has surrendered her life to His will.

"Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have."
~Ronald Reagan

"Hell, there are no rules here. We're trying to accomplish something."

“In my heart- I feel that the value of being pro-life is not just about the decisions one makes in there own personal life.”
I respect your view. FRiend, I just don’t think a state judge is quite the same as a Supreme Court justice regarding life — not until the Supreme Court overrules Roe.
You are kidding, right? Are you too young to remember the way the left went out of their way to sneer at Regan’s ideas and pan every idea he had or did you just not pay attention? I was 20 when Regan was elected and I remember what they did to him.I doubt if you will find much of that online because most anything that happened existed before 1998 just isn’t avaliable online.
Palin is no quitter. It is only that she couldn't financially pay for her many defenses.
I hear this and other liberal media talking points against Palin. That just tells me liberals/Marxists are scared of Palin. A lot of these so called conservatives are really democrats.
Palin will stop the growth of government. That's what's needed first. Who cares about liberal media talking points and small stuff? Huckabee is a pro-Amnesty socialist. So who do this flowerplough and others prefer over Palin?
Palin is awesome and I hope she becomes president.
Well said. I agree 100 percent. Palin is the best bet for 2012 since nobody else is going to step up to the plate. It is aligning to be her time.
Meh. Swing voters are called that for a reason. They vasillate back and forth pretty predictably because they have no core political beliefs. No need to waste energy swinging the swing - happens by itself every 4-8 yrs like clockwork. Better to be positioned to move the country hard right when the swing happens. We need someone who will move the swingset.
Don’t know if that’s Sarah or not, but centrism is a failed strategy. The flap-eared socialist will be gone 3-7 yrs from now, and then it will be our time. Only takes 49-50% to actually elect a president. The wishy-washy moderates will follow the general tide as they always do. Time to quit letting the tail wag the elephant.
I see her name spelled differently all over the place, so I’m not sure. I should just go to her official webpage for the correct spelling of her name.
Sarah Palin for President.
Condi Rice for Vice President.
The winning ticket at the race track in 2012.
Book It!!!
She is likable and populist. I was once a more ardent supporter; though I like and admire her still, she is not sophisticated enough to be President.
George Washington was President, she is no George Washington, and he was populist, too. V’s wife.
I also agree with having a Palin/Bachmann ‘12 ticket, but there are a finite number of other possibilities that would also work.
Palin/Bachman would get my vote. (Glad the troll is gone. Seems like there have been several leaving the comments lately. Guess they cannot take the fact that their arrogant leader is not what they believed him to be)
I would rather see a VP for Palin with a lot of Foreign policy experience. John Bolton would be my choice.
She won’t win the primary.
No more Bushs! No more Clintons!
I predict Hillary! is going to challenge 0bama in 2012. She just doesn’t ‘get’ that most people dislike her in the first place; she’s just as much an egotist as 0bama.
Sarah mentioned Congressman Paul Ryan (R, WI) in her speech last night; she mentions/quotes him from time to time.
I could see Palin/Ryan against 0bama/Plugs come 2012. They would mop the floor with ‘em! :)
Representative Pete Sessions, Senator Jim Inhofe, Senator Tom Coburn, and Senator Jeff Sessions are also possible ‘12 GOP Presidential candidates. Nothing is definite yet, and politics is very unpredictable. There could also be one or more people unknown to everybody right now that could end up as top contenders for ‘12 GOP POTUS. Anything is possible in politics.
