..I believe too broad of a Progressive brush is being used when Beck and others put TR in the same room with Woodrow Wilson.

TR may have had some progressive (today we would call it Compassionate Conservative) ideas, but he believed in American exceptionalism.

Wilson was an arrogant, racist, utopianistic, internationalist, who had a messiah complex (sound familiar?).

His vision for one big happy unified world might have been rooted in some post-millennial views which may have come from his religious upbringing.

To put TR, one of our greatest presidents, in the same sentence with Woodrow Wilson and later liberals and Marxists is ridiculous and historically inaccurate...

There’s that Org again — the Council on Foreign Relations.

How many politicians and ‘journalists’ of the last 20-some years have been members? I can name several, including most who have been in the presidential primaries, been their respective party’s nominee, and even been elected to the Oval Office and Congress.

So, it is a ‘progressive’ Org.

We need to see more exposure of ‘progressives’ — those in both parties.

Snip...Cooper: By 1904, he has effectively made intra-Republican politics, the real political division in Wisconsin. It's not Republicans vs. Democrats, it's LaFollette's faction vs. the old guard. The names they called themselves were interesting, too. His group called themselves "Progressives." And this is the first time that that word begins to be used. That will go on to become the national word for reform.

Tomorrow night’s show in Norfolk, Virginia has been CANCELLED due to the approaching snow storm which caused the Governor to declare a state of emergency. It has been rescheduled for Friday, May 21st. More details on the rescheduled Norfolk show are available HERE.

Glenn feels really, really, really, really bad about that -- sort of. By the way, almost 20,000 people will see Glenn and Bill O'Reilly, while the President drew about 2,000.

Libs finding out hard truths

Liberals are outraged at the mere thought of being mentioned in the same breath with older progressives and liberals who shared their beliefs and turned out to be disastrous leaders. Perhaps someone with the intellect of Barack Obama should have known that moving a 9/11 terror trial to New York City wasn't the best idea in the world. Finally, the President has caved in and it has been reported that he ordered the Justice Department to find new places to hold the trial.
