..I believe too broad of a Progressive brush is being used when Beck and others put TR in the same room with Woodrow Wilson.

TR may have had some progressive (today we would call it Compassionate Conservative) ideas, but he believed in American exceptionalism.

Wilson was an arrogant, racist, utopianistic, internationalist, who had a messiah complex (sound familiar?).

His vision for one big happy unified world might have been rooted in some post-millennial views which may have come from his religious upbringing.

To put TR, one of our greatest presidents, in the same sentence with Woodrow Wilson and later liberals and Marxists is ridiculous and historically inaccurate...

YOU had better do some actual research on TR. He was nothing more that a “republican” Progressive.
