If healthcare passes the socialist coup d'etat has advanced beyond the point of no return!
Dec 19, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!

There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.

The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.

The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.

The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.

Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.

It's time to jerk their constitutional chains taut!

It's time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!!

It's time to assemble for duty, for Liberty!!

Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

Her and GW pulled this off together, and Perry has done squat to stem the tide.

So you guys keep up with your tea parties, vigils, letter writing, etc. etc. While you all light your candles my ass is packing the bags and leaving.

I don't want to hear any "stay and fight" crap either because getting carpal tunnel from pounding away on your keyboards won't award you any Purple Hearts.

Where the heck were you thinking you were going to go when you posted this?

Taking the Bonus Marchers as a counter example

Considering how that turned out, maybe you should rethink the comparison.

I don't know if those things will happen, but the Chicago Thugs will try if they get desperate enough, which seems highly likely.

Been working ever since John stole the presidency from Nixon.

Eh, it was out of frustration because it seems like most here thinks this is going to be business as usual.

Just a thought.....Sarah Palin left office in Alaska because of numerous harassing lawsuits (ethics & anything else they could find) filed against her; would it be possible to start some of the same things against some of the corrupt members of the Senate and House? I know some states protect their elected officials from that, apparently Alaska doesn’t, but would the threat of that do any good with this socialist agenda with this bunch? If they wind up having to defend their actions, would it slow down or deter the more noxious parts of it? Just askin’.

Well, I have been looking at Chile even before the elections. I wouldn’t mind having a place there.

But what of those who refused to vote for McCain, saying that having a Democrat in the White House would cause the Republicans to embrace Conservatism? Frankly, I’m convinced they contributed to the mess we’re in!

Actually, your statement resembles your moniker's initials. I'm of the opinion that we should have stayed home and let the Global Socialist GWB lose to the commies before the government was vastly expanded, there would have been a conservative backlash and we'd be in better shape. I was dumb enough to vote for the "lesser" evil in the last three elections, but now I realize the damage that was done. No more. Never voting for another RINO. The lesser evil is really the greater evil. W handed us what we've got.

You are living in a dreamworld where McCain wins the election, he stands up to democrats and we all live happy ever-after. If McCain was president; Health Reform, cap and Trade and Amnesty would all be law now. And Republicans approval would be lower than democrats now; after the McCain/Pelosi stimulus package failed just like the Bush/Pelosi stimulus package did.

I hate to ask, but do you think the Bush presidency was a success? You think this all was an accident? bad luck?

There is an huge irony here. Obama,Pelosi and Reid now have to fight off a liberal revolt over the personal mandates without the public plan, tax increases on unions, no anti-trust law. Obama ran against mandates in the Dem primary, Hillary proposed them, not popular with democrats (unless it's slavery to the federal government ~ public plan/single payer.) .

Liberals see this as being sold into slavery to Health Insurance companies(this is the irony), some want to revolt and others are saying it's more important to pass anything now and fix it later. There is a liberal civil war going on now and they have the holidays for things to boil over.(dems are not having a happy Christmas)

They see this compromise as another TARP, just more taxpayer money to the powerful corporations. And that the Democrat party sold them out. Obama sold them out. Keep asking liberals why the Health Insurance stocks are up. It's killing them.

Liberals aren’t happy unless they are unhappy, and misery loves miserable company. (One reason why the left spreads misery)

You gotta love the fact that after them seeing Bush as THE demon for 8 years holding up progress, and thinking Obama replacing Bush would bring in a new age (the golden Obama age), that now they have come to the truth, Obama is all about Obama, not them.

They are being asked to swallow being sold out to save Obama who lied to them about his position on public option, and must swallow the holdout moderates getting rewarded with bribes their states didnt get (except liberal Sanders heldout too.) .

They were not miserable a year ago. MSNBC shows after shows (except Obama’s worshipper Mathews) are ripping elected democrats yesterday and today. I still cant imagine how a conference bill passes.

Keep asking liberals why the Health Insurance stocks are up.

The beautiful thing about this is that we are only telling the truth: That the big insurance companies are very happy.

RE :”Yeah, but they will still blame Republicans (and Bush) somehow...”

Yes, you are 100% correct :) but unlike 2005-2008 it cant sell anymore, beyond to that small core of libs that will believe Obama to the end (their equivelent of our Bush-bots.)

Today on MSNBCs Hardball , while mad that Republicans are opposing Democrats (LOL, not kidding), Chris Mathews gave the Democrat a few zingers with “Bush didn't give Obama this health care bill” and “Is the snow we got Bush's fault too?” I was at the gym on a machine laughing. Mathews loves Obama but knows what is happening.

Shhhhh, let me tell you a secret, don't tell the doomsday freepers, but I love politics again, I really love it! It's been so long since I could say that.

Of course I agree with everything you say above. However, how do we stop or reverse such perversion of our rightful Heritage?

You and many others of late have given much of your own time and monies, and I sincerely applaud you all. Some of us have done so before, and to the same negative end result. Since those public and political efforts are paying little returns, what do we do now?:

More protests? Okay, if you can muster some "millions" on the Capitol steps, with a significant number willing to be arrested for simple civil disobedience (no violence), then again, negative result. If not, the boys in DC don't care about TEA Parties. Deal with that fact. And why aren't you folks thinking about protesting outside the homes of your representatives? Why is there no movement for that, within legal means?

More Internet talk about Revolution from couch potatoes? Just stupid - ain't gonna happen.

USSC hopes? Good luck with that. The Supremes long ago decided that the "commerce" and "general welfare" clauses include anything and everything (even intra-state in some decisions). They hate to reverse themselves.

So what's left? I submit:

STATE NULLIFICATION!
A couple of states have already signed into law that any weapons manufactured and sold within those States are not subject to the "commerce clause". There has been NO repercussions as yet -- think about that!. Other States are looking at passing the same type laws.

In accordance, We The People, should take a position to support States' Rights and support ANY State that will just say NO to obama, reid, pelosi health care and other unConstitutional mandates!

It can be legally argued forever about the "commerce clause" and the "general welfare" clause and never come to agreement. Although, those of us who have read the Founding Fathers' papers know what they meant.

In the end, it comes down to the 9th and 10th Amendments that negate any such arguements. As any first year law student knows, "amendments" to a contract supersede the targeted specifics within said contract. The United States Constitution is a contract between the individual States.

STATE NULLIFICATION VIA THE 9TH AND 10TH AMENDMENTS!
There is NO ambiguity regarding that part of our societal compact. There is NO spin; NO parsing; NO modern interpretation. Those (2) Amendments are clear in their meaning.!
