Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!
There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.
The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.
The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.
The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.
Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.
It's time to jerk their constitutional chains taut!
It's time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!!

ObamaCare which will not only destroy our entire health care system, cause deaths, and tank the economy to a no comeback situation.
McCain may be a POS but we wouldn’t have have this crap and he is leading the fight against ObamaCare.
I am Conservative down the line but when the above issues are taking us down to a socialist state with no return, am glad I voted McCain - Palin and don’t have on my conscience that I helped elect Obama by voting Third Party or sitting home.
Just go back to Sept and Oct '08 and read any of the posts. The air was thick of samo samo, vote for obama so the nation will fall sooner, more people will suffer faster, THEN, THEN, people will wake up and vote conservative, Yeah, that's the ticket!!

I TOTALLY understand your consternation. But the Left keeps moving even further Left .. they are scraping up against Socialism and Communism.
Those that opt out, the my-way-or-the-highway people refuse to advance the ball in any direction. I am going to advance the ball in my direction no matter how small.

Eventually, all socialist systems fail in a crisis.
And we need lawyers! Lots of them. And defense funds. You know they will arrest and hassle as many of us as they possibly can and attempt to halt us with demands for permits and what have you. These things we will have to overcome. God issued our right to assemble and the first amendment is our legal permit, but a good wartime consigliere can help us forge contracts that are hard to refuse

Not necessarily. As long as the Alien in Chief is president, it would take 2/3 of the House and Senate to overturn a presidential veto. He will veto anything that tries to undo his quest for socialism.

Write an op ed? Send more hate mail to Senators and Representatives who no longer listen to us or acknowledge the Constitutions limits? Have another March that the MSM will ignore or downplay?
I know.... Maybe we can bicker endlessly about the latest batch of RINO's being foisted on us by the GOP while the Tea Party types keep trying to make a difference in spite of them. That way, by the time ACORN and Soros' handpicked Secretaries of State are done stuffing the ballot box our Candidates will only have the slimmest chance in hell of attaining office.

This is what’s frightening me. There hasn’t been ONE politician on the national scene who has had the balls to say “ENOUGH! I don’t care if my career is over, I’m going to go down fighting this!”. Not one. They’re all too concerned about triangulating their next poll results. If we had a true leader stand up for principle over party and power, the people would rally to them.

The "my-way-or-the-highway" crowd are evidently content to sit on the sidelines and lets others fight their battles for them.
The conservative movement is gaining momentum ever yday and we are approaching a critical mass that will allow us to take over the leadership of the Republican party.
I don't understand why some people don't believe that is a worthy goal.
