In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed Ida, was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

Meets the definition of feeding a troll:
"Oh for heaven's sake, ColdWater: Please grow up." Not possible, just coming into Jr. High as he is. Until that hopeful day (when he grows up), just as a suggestion, let me recommend that you not feed the Troll.
Yes it is. It is amazing that GGG would use this guy as his expert!
He looks a bit like Mr. Bean.
Thanks for not pinging me.
Some territory is worth exploring. Some isn't.
I wonder what GGG would have said if he had found a geologists lying about how the earth old the earth is. Oops! GGG did find a lying geologist!
See? You can’t do anything right.
Damned if you do. Damned if you don’t.
Par for the course.
Research Summary
I am interested in the evolution of complex biochemical systems. Many molecular systems in the cell require multiple components in order to function. I have dubbed such systems "irreducibly complex." (Behe 1996b, 2001) Irreducibly complex systems appear to me to be very difficult to explain within a traditional gradualistic Darwinian framework, because the function of the system only appears when the system is essentially complete. (An illustration of the concept of irreducible complexity is the mousetrap pictured on this page, which needs all its parts to work.) Despite much general progress by science in the past half century in understanding how complex biochemical systems work, little progress has been made in explaining how such systems arise in a Darwinian fashion. I have proposed that a better explanation is that such systems were deliberately designed by an intelligent agent. (Behe 1996b, 2001) The proposal of intelligent design has proven to be extremely controversial, both in the scientific community (for example, see Brumfel, G. 2005. Nature434:1062‑1065) and in the general news media. (Behe 1996a, 1999, 2005) My current work involves: 1) educating various groups to overcome mistaken ideas of what exactly intelligent design entails, so that they can make informed judgments on whether they think it is a plausible hypothesis; and 2) trying to establish a reasoned way to determine a rough dividing line between design and non-design in biochemical systems.
Troll is as Troll does.
Let's try that again:
Troll does as Troll is.
Nope, Works either way.
It is easy to see when one is losing. They banter among themselves and keep warning the others not to feed the trolls.

Hey—I smell a new keyword: lyinGGGeologist!
[[For you folks in Rio Vista he just said that if you don’t believe like he does you are not a “TRUE” Christian.]]
Lol- when you’re doen crying, lemme know, I’ll throw ya a box of kleenex- till then, it’s not ‘how I beleive’- it’s how the bible (You know, that pesky word of God that you mistakenly htink is just a collection of men’s thoughts?) says one needs to be redeemed by the blood of the lamb- but mind you- work your way to heaven ‘believing’ however you wish- even if it IS contrary to hte word of God (Woops- that’s right- you don’t beleive it’s God’s actual word- my mistake-)- far be it from me to twist your arm to beleive liek I do- just don’t whine about it while you’re choosing your own path- if you need a pat on the back- let us know- we’ll try to accomodate you- but be forewarned- We aren’t goign to mangle God’s word to suit your ‘belief’ system just because you find His word uncomfortable
That’s GGGreat!
Talk about arm twisting, we're told by the evos that if we don't believe like they do, then WE'RE not true Christians, but cultists.
Funny about that. They're doing the very thing they condemn us for......again......
“Funny about that. They’re doing the very thing they condemn us for......again......”
And you’re not teaching science...still. I take that as a win.
[[Funny about that. They’re doing the very thing they condemn us for......again...... ]]
Except that true Christians take God at His word, and have obeyed His command to accept Christ as Savior- the evos however are tryign to ‘earn Christ’ by their works- and the truth of the matter cuts liek a knife, so they must- have no choice, but to twist and manipulate God’s word by claimign it;’s nothign but a collection of ‘good sayings’ by fallible man- it;’s their only ‘defense’ and a pretty poor one at that
[[we’re told by the evos that if we don’t believe like they do, then WE’RE not true Christians, but cultists]]
I love it when an unsaved person who doesn’t beleive God’s word tells those who do, who have obeyed God and foudn Him to be exactly what He says He is in His word, how we’re ‘suppsoed’ to beleive. Always remind me of the fella on the outside of hte house, refusing to go inside, even htough invited through the front door, and insisting that those inside can’t possibly know the owner (who incidently is standign right htere makign himself known to his invited guests)- those o nthe outside will apparently ‘get to’ the owner their own way- only problem is, there is no other way- accordign to God’s word- (which of course htose on the outside don’t beleive)
accordign to man's word.
God anticipated far more sinister and intelligent attacks on His Church than yours when he built it upon the Rock of St. Peter. The same process that accumulated Scripture from among the many contemporaneous works to form that Bible you refer to was but one of the Church's efforts guided by the Holy Spirit. That same process and the same Holy Spirit perpetuated His Church through Apostolic Succession and the teachings of the Church. Am I going to be swayed on matters of theology by someone who is wrong on worldly things as well......NFW.
