In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed Ida, was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

It isn’t inconsistent with a lump of dust (or mud) and a divine hand...
You won’t get one honest answer from peopel like CW- we have NEVER said anyone’s thoughts shouldn’t be presented, and it is ALWAYS the evos who whine and blubber on and on about Creation science news articles beign posted in general chat and front pages- once again- the evo’s claims are refuted by the FACTS- but will they admit it? Never
If the parents didn’t like what the school board did, they could have just homeschooled or put their kids in private school. You know the same option that is thrown up in the faces of Christians who don’t like that the school boards do.
They didn’t have to waste the schools money by suing them.
Are you saying that parents know better than school boards?
Just type louder... it will suddenly come true!!
TRUE Christians have always been ‘way out of the maisntream’- Narrow is the road, and few will there be who have the guts to follow the road- shame that some evos o nthis thread who claim to be ‘christian’ think that ‘being in the mainstream’ is more important than obeying the Creator. We’d rather be right than popular-
Of course, the school board will still take their tax money and run. Why are you in favor of government taking money and spending it on education without the parents having an input on what is being taught?
Just so there is no misconception (even though I don't believe that there is)...
I do not support a separate intelligent designer over the God of the Bible. I believe that God, specifically Jesus Christ, is the Creator (John 1).
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood[a] it.
6There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. 7He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.[b]
10He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God 13children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(For you folks in Rio Vista that means you won't get one answer that exactly matches your narrow view on science and theology)
Wow! This bears closer detail.
It is NOT the schools money. It is the taxpayers money!
LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! This bears closer detail.
Are you saying that government know better than the parents what their parents children should be taught?
Give me the post number where I said that. You have the reading skills and manners of a Creationist.
[[I do not support a separate intelligent designer over the God of the Bible. I believe that God, specifically Jesus Christ, is the Creator (John 1).]]
Of course you don-t Folks liek CW know htis full well- but they’ve run out of ammo, and have to resort to silly word games to ‘make their case’ which really isn’t a case at all, but an excersize in silly irrelevent symantics
Let me just warn you, that if you continue tryign to discuss anyhtign with folks liek CW, you’ll be playing that silly game all day long- they simpyl have no real ammo to play with
Who cares what mainstream anything has to say? Mainstream is usually wrong and any church, mainstream or not, which has abandoned the truth and truthfulness of the Bible has no business calling itself Christian.
Matt 7:12-14 13”Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
So you have finally come around to what the majority of Christians (Catholics) have known for generations. You are making progress. You are only a few weeks away from saying the Rosary and doing push-ups at Notre Dame football games. (you are going to love fish on Fridays during Lent)....LOL
Yep. Now what???
Civil society is at stake.
For you folks in Rio Vista he just said that if you don't believe like he does you are not a "TRUE" Christian. One has to wonder if Cottshop believes he came in glory to judge the living and the dead???????????
You must have to have posted all those links. Too bad you didn't bother to read the links.
I am confused. Then, when you posted the following, you were trying to show that scientific challenges to DE were wrong?
"Headline: Americans Overwhelmingly Support Teaching Scientific Challenges to Darwinian Evolution, Zogby Poll Shows From March 2006."
