In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed Ida, was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

You are arrogant. You lie about what God has to tell us and what He has done.

Brian, as usual, dramatically overstates the case. And the implication that Ardi was a hoax is an out-and-out lie.

No matter how you cut it, evolution is a fantasy.
Let’s put it another way, evolution is as real as “global warming” and Al Gore is the Father of the Internet!
LOL!!!!!

There’s been more than one single incorrect claim about a fossil in the scientific world. Evolution is replete with claims that have eventually proved to be bogus.
The problem is, that when the claims are made, they are heralded with great fanfare. When they are debunked, it’s swept under the carpet.
It’s dishonest to keep trumpeting the triumphs and not admitting so vocally when you were wrong.
One reason is that it’s the cowards way out. The other reason is that it leaves the false impression that much more evidence exists connecting man to primates than is really out there.
Either way is deceptive, either outright lying, or allowing a lie to propagate without correcting it as strongly as announcing it.

I agree with you that this is not current thought but rather it is historic in some of the old great sermons of many years ago. The seminal point is that which ever approach the evolutionist take they are often confused at the best and guilty of overt deception at the worse (Piltdown man). tk
To: RoadGumby
Yes, the Cult of Gaia (AGW) and the Cult of Darwin (Evolutionists) are related. Both Refuse the existence of God. Really? You have statements from all evolutions (or even a scientific survey sample)? How about theistic evolutionists?

xcamel just likes to call those whom she disagrees with “liars” regardless of the veracity of the accusation. Thus, when she calls creationists liars, she is herself committing a lie. And you know what, her evo-atheist animal impulses are perfectly ok with it.
To: xcamel
Yes, evolution is a LIE.
I feel sorry for people who put their “faith” in evolution and are constantly disappointed when the latest wishful thinking or hoax is exposed. How sad that for many, evolution is their RELIGION!

Not being a real Christian as defined in God’s word, you have no dog in this fight.
You exist only to cause strife between Christians. You serve the adversary.

That depends on if they believe or not.
Do they support abortion? I’d say NOT Christian.
Do they say God Lies? I’d say NOT Christian.
Do they Rely on the Pope, or Mary, or works for Salvation? I’d say NOT Christian.
Beware of teachings of false doctrines, those who seek to accomodate the world by compromising Gods Word.

What? Scientist objectively evaluating a scientific claim in order to get the correct conclusion from the observable data available? Scientist challenging and correcting other scientific claims based on evidence? The free market place of ideas producing the best & accurate conclusions . . . What a concept! It's too bad that scientists don't get it yet and apply that before shooting their mouths off and then later having to retract what they said.
Funny thing is, creationists were right in initially stating that it wouldn't turn out to be a missing link. Evos may not like the reasons creationists gave, the creationists were right.
