I have no doubt in my mind that once people find out who the REAL Sarah Palin is (not the invented MSM/Tina Fey impersonator), the numbers will go waaaaay past HolyO’s!
I have my copy via Amazon so I will not be eligible for signing as Joseph-Beth is giving out signing tickets based on buy the copy at full price from them. But, no worries. I am fine with that.. I want to be there to welcome her and be part of a big, boisterous, loving crowd so that folks understand this lady is not a joke to us.
And, that is mostly because, we think she gets it and I believe she will do what she can to help us make a change in 2010. If we win in 2010 and stop the insanity, then we will get up, look around and see what needs doing next.
It truly has been fascinating. Idiots like David Frum acting as if they can advise us on what facts are... he was on Laura Ingraham and admitted he doesn't have a clue but that doesn't stop him from flapping his gums and saying the most vile ill considered things.
He talks about true Republicans as if he was someone who represented that group, when he is completely clueless as any former Rockefeller Republican of the 70's slamming Ronald Reagan. And this is a theme. Judge Nepalitano was also opening mouth and inserting foot, eating the MSM spin and running with it.. to get his name in the news. Well... these quotes will come back to haunt. You can bet on it.
This is a good question. The Admin moderator pulled it from Breaking and placed it back several times during the day, but as the day wore on, it became obvious that if it wasn't done there would be 20 threads about this rather than just one, which is part of the point of these highlight lists.
These are: To prevent multiple posts of the same thread. To highlight an event of significance that is just occurring, especially if it has national significance. And to serve as a summary of the important news of the day.
This 1,000,000 milestone is extremely important because, Facebook is the vehicle that sets Sarah Palin free of the MSM.
As one of the pre-eminent warriors on the side of halting and pushing back the destruction of the United States of America, her reach extending another 10% in the last week and skyrocketing even as this book tour is just starting says that the fools and nay sayers who tried to preemptively suppress the impact of this book are just barking into the night sky.
What I laugh at is those folks who are obviously NOT Conservatives, but for some reason decided to “fan-sub” her page. Then (like a comment I saw yesterday) they say things like “Leave off my homepage” — I just have to laugh because it would not BE on their “homepage” at FB unless they “ASKED” her to be on it! LOL Idiotic Liberals at the “finest”! :)
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to express how I felt about the Oprah interview and you nailed it. She don’t need to steenkin’ “Handlers” — they need to leave her the heck alone and she’ll do JUST FINE! McCain could’ve taken a lesson or two from HER — in fact, the entire campaign staff and half the GOP SHOULD be paying attention they ALL need a lesson or two and Sarah would be a GREAT teacher!
I’m a big fan of Palin and intend to vote for her if I get the chance.
But I have to say that I’m growing weary of the hysterical enthusiasm over her every move. If she so much as hiccups, people lose their minds with joyous approval over it. I’m hoping that the enthusiasm will give way to a more dignified reflection.
You have every right to be weary of this.
FWIW my view is that I support Sarah but she *must* prove herself in the central political arena. She has just started doing this with her book and her interviews. So far she has hit a home run with her book, Oprah was OK, her interview on Rush yesterday was AWESOME.
So as long as she continues to put meat on the bone - as I think she can and will - I can live with the whole media/personality side of it. After all, that attracts voters, too.

Ms. Palin is just beginning!!! I really don’t think she fully grasps how bad Barack Obama and the Democrat Party are for the future of our great country. I could write for hours about these lightweights that have been drinking Kool Aid non-stop. But.....a quick glimpse of how Obama was worked like a puppet in Chinese theater is evidence enough that POTUS obama is the supreme empty suit. China (PRC) with all her communist control is out foxing the USA using our own capitalist system, and...India with its new left center government will shortly be eating us alive courtesy of privat industry. Americans, you just don’t get it. The world has changed, and China and India see where the power engine is, private industry and growth. Obama is somewhere on a Russian plain in the mid 1930s along with his left-wing, socialist Democrat Party. We better wake up and broom Obama into resignation or impeachment or America will become just another third world nation. Want to know the comers, PRC, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Russian Federation, Emirates, Central Europe, Brazil, etc.a Unfortunately, our POTUS has not a clue, and is the laughing stock of growing economy nations!!!

It's funny, it reminds me of that scene in Independence Day when they Nuke the alien ship and then everyone is completely shocked when the camera comes back on and the ship is still there without a scratch on it. All they can do now is cuss at her and call her names.
Its up to 1,022,256 now. I finally got on the Palin bandwagon!
