What are you talking about? We know the Democrats will vote party line every time. Moderates are more dangerous than liberals. At least I know where a liberal stands!

Boehner and Steele are pied pipering us and trying to use this issue as a wedge to get us to support the GOP.
I understand that Cao of Louisiana supported the bill.
Do Steele and Boehner plan to cut off support from him and kick him out of the GOP caucus for what he did in supporting the bill?
If pushed, Steele and Boehner will say something like “his one vote wouldn’t have made a difference anyway.”
I say impose the punishment.
I think the GOP uniting on this issue is designed to create a “wedge issue” that will emotionally attach us to the GOP and forget all the other RINO actions and words coming from Congressional Republicans.

No surprise there - none whatsoever. What is telling that it turned out to be the squeaker that it was. Had to be dragged, kicked, pushed and pulled over the finish line. Not a lot of confident voting going on there.

“I thought they were going to start taxing us for it in January?
Why do we not just de-fund it?”
Maybe it’s time for a National sick out for a designated length of time. How much money would it cost the Feds if about 30 to 50 million people called in sick for a week or two?Starve the Beast of our tax dollars.

Yes, he did - breaking a campaign promise. Who knows if she would have. But, if her history is/was any indication, I imagine she would have.Several days before the election while we were all screaming at Newt, Owens said that supported the public option as it was currently written.
Scuzzifavor specifically said in her campaign that she was against the public option.
Those are the facts.

He (45) said people are going to be begging to come to him as a general practian.

Here in Texas, RIGHT NOW, we need to pressure Governor Perry to announce our secession. He will damn sure have the backing here to make it happen.

What they are not planning on is the influx of illegals that will be signing up for free health care, social security, medicare and anything else the Congress decides to provide them in return for a vote. They are planning on that. Peasants, they "love" peasants

This is no America we recognize. My maternal grandfather foresaw and warned of this back in 1961. Sad he was so prophetic. When he warned communists were taking over the White House I was terrified for as a young child I envisioned men in cossacks that would kidnap me. (I had the same fear of Ali Baba) Everyone thought he was blowin' smoke. Now it reminds me of a 60's flick where they took everyone over 35 & put them in a LSD concentration camp.
But I know for a fact They Live
This movie is not so much about aliens who are hiding among us, but instead it taps into the deeply submerged suspicion held by most of us that we are being manipulated and taken advantage of by the elite of American society, by our leaders, by the rich, etc. Also, we sometimes feel that we are manipulated and programmed (in a subtle way) to respect hierarchical authority ( e.g., the "OBEY" subliminal command from the movie).

I have been thinking about what the Democrats did tonight. I have never been so mad in all my life for them passing this but I am actually glad they did they passed this. Let me explain. The American electorate has been in a drunken stupor for so long. We have what we have in office because nobody is feeling any discomfort.
After the American people see what was passed and what it will do for their quality of life, it will finally get people to act because they will see their quality of life plummet. The Democrats have no idea what hit them last Tuesday and they will have no idea what will hit them in November of 2010. This is their attack on Pearl Harbor and you know what happened to Japan after this act.
They are so arrogant and blind that they think this is a victory for the left and their power. This vote was the beginning of the end for the left and the Democrats. We need to continue to pray, fight and act. We will prevail. We will takeover again this gov’t “for and by the people.”
