Boehner and Steele are pied pipering us and trying to use this issue as a wedge to get us to support the GOP.
I understand that Cao of Louisiana supported the bill.
Do Steele and Boehner plan to cut off support from him and kick him out of the GOP caucus for what he did in supporting the bill?
If pushed, Steele and Boehner will say something like “his one vote wouldn’t have made a difference anyway.”
I say impose the punishment.
I think the GOP uniting on this issue is designed to create a “wedge issue” that will emotionally attach us to the GOP and forget all the other RINO actions and words coming from Congressional Republicans.
I don’t care what the GOP is doing, I don’t want to see this bill passed. If it is passed, kiss America goodbye. We are officially Europeans now
My Rep voted NO as I live in a Conservative district of Oklahoma — in fact our delegation including the Democrat voted NO. Our Dem voted how his district told him to vote.
In this case, Coa of LA voted for how his welfare constituents wanted him to vote. Considering his vote was very late, I don’t think he would have voted YES if it would have made the difference.
This is what Pelosi does — releases moderates to vote with Conservatives after she gets her needed votes.
We probably the same for a guy from a welfare district of LA. He is elected to vote for his district.
Shame some of here don’t have the same venom for the Blue Dogs that voted AGAINST their district as you do for Cao who voted for his district.
