"Republican Dede Scozzafava today endorsed Democrat Bill Owens, her former opponent, in Tuesday's election to fill the North Country congressional seat formerly held by John McHugh.
Scozzafava suspended her campaign for the 23rd District seat Saturday, citing weak poll numbers and inadequate campaign funds.
In a statement released this afternoon, she called Owens ''an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York.''"

Aside from Newt, everyone you mentioned has to do with the U.S. Senate. Let's not forget the RINOs in the U.S. House. Many of them have been instumental in passing Obama's agenda like cap n' trade. Some freepers even support giving these RINOs a promotion to the U.S. Senate. Some of the moderate-to-liberal House Republicans on my "do NOT ever support in a Republican primary" list include: Mike Castle, Mark Kirk, Peter King, Rob Simmons, Walter Jones, Linc Diaz-Balart, Mario Diaz-Balart, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Frank LoBiondo, Leonard Lance, Mary Bono, Dave Reichert, Jim Gerlach, Mike Rogers , and Patrick Murphy.

hello.... do you live in Arizona??? 1) McCain announced months and months ago he IS running and 2) he knows he has problems and has been making an attempt to campaign here and there and 3) the people running against him do not stand a snowball’s chance in hell of winning so unless someone steps forward with the ability to actually win McCain will easily win re-election.

That is just it... it’s not ARIZONA, it’s that no one of any worth ever challenges McCain because McCain controls the Chamber here and they in turn control the GOP here and if anyone dared challenge him — other than a weakling — that person would be ruined... the only chance we have is if either JD would decide to step in (he is indicating he will not) or if Shaddegg decided to take him on — chances of that are nill and none... otherwise there isn’t anyone and there is the problem in the GOP as a whole, the old guard — like McCain — has actively worked to keep new blood from coming on board..... believe me if they had a strong challenge to McCain then Mc would lose... but that just never happens here... even on the democratic side, the only strong democrat challenge was to Kyl, never to McCain.
I could care less if he wins now because he will be totally irrelevent.
McCain wins or loses he'll be put in the closet.
