Barack Obama said the Waxman-Markey carbon tax would help create "green energy" jobs in the U.S. He is now using taxpayer dollars to fund jobs in Spain.
Barack Obama sold the Waxman-Markey "American Clean Energy and Security Act" to Congress and the American people by saying that investment in so-called "green energy" would create millions of high-wage American manufacturing jobs. We received an E-mail from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (nonpartisan professional organization) that exposed Barack Obama as a blatant prevaricator who is shamelessly using our tax dollars to create jobs not in the United States but in foreign countries. We wonder what rank and file union members--not union bosses who, to paraphrase Henry Ford, have never worked in a shop and whose ambition is to never have to work in a shop, but blue collar workers who actually put in eight hours of honest work every day--will do to the Democratic Party when they discover this. There are ads running here on our local talk radio show (the Mark Steyn, in for Rush, show) about needing to fund projects to reduce our reliance on foreign oil. One is Wesley Clark wanting COOL notices on oil, and the other is that Evan Bayh supports Indiana’s green energy industries. Neither proposes more development of our own resources as part of the solution....

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, commonly referred to as the “stimulus bill,” was intended to jump-start the economy in the short term and fund long-term investments. Quick funding of state-based projects to fight the recession was a major rationale for expediting the law's passage. However, six months have passed and little of that money has been delivered.
States with large per capita allocations probably expected a quick arrival of their recession-fighting funds. The state-by-state disbursement data tells a different story. When it comes to money actually paid out, many states that were promised less are getting the most. By the time the recovery money is fully paid, states with the largest total allocations will obviously be tops in terms of money received. The NJ governor is an ex-Goldman Sachs operator....and is practiced on how to loot and pillage piles of money for personal profit. Both Obama and Biden (who Obama put in charge of the stimulus zillions) have visited NJ.
FREEPER ALERT Keep an eye out in states and districts of legislators pushing ObamaCare...... for "announcements" of stimulus, or other federal monies. These might be payoffs-----for shoving ObamaCare down our throats.

(Reuters) – A fund of hedge funds run by two members of VP Joe Biden's family was marketed exclusively by firms controlled by Texas financier Allen Stanford, charged by regulators with an $8 billion fraud, the Wall Street Journal said.
The Bidens $50 million fund was jointly branded between the Bidens' Paradigm Global Advisors LLC and a Stanford Financial Group entity, and was known as the Paradigm Stanford Capital Management Core Alternative Fund, the paper said. Stanford-related companies marketed the fund to investors and also invested about $2.7 million of their own money in the fund, the paper said, citing a lawyer for Paradigm.
Paradigm Global Advisors is owned through a holding company by the vice president's son, Hunter, and Joe Biden's brother, James, according to the paper. Paradigm's attorney, Marc LoPresti, who represents Hunter Biden and James Biden, as well as Paradigm, told the paper he did not know which Stanford entity invested the roughly $2.7 million. He told the paper the Bidens NEVER met or communicated with Stanford.
