There are now modified photos of the COLB that broke here yesterday. The changes are so slight, that no one is noticing them.
The original one posted in breaking news:
One of the modified ones:
The changes are so subtle, you can barely tell which one you are looking at.
This modified one is showing jokes like: The Font of the Certificate=Schmutz (A Schmutz is a chump, as in you are a chump) #5733=The number of the Certificate, is code for : "Problem with Windows REGISTRY", a sly reference to your claim that Obama does not appear on the Hawaii Live Birth Registry. 47O44=Easiest of all. BOH's age=47 0=O (if you look close you can tell that that is a Schmutz Font "Oh" not "Zero") EF Lavender is ORGANIC DISH SOAP
The original one does not say EF Lavender, it says KF Lavender. The original one shows the number is: 47,644.
Are they planning on releasing more on this?
I do not doubt that David Jeffrey Bomford exists... or that his BC was posted on his family's geneology site. What I doubt is that the one that was downloaded from that site is the ORIGINAL that Bomford placed there. His personal birth data is certainly correct... however, the data about the location of that data in the public records, volume and page numbers, price if the document copy, the signatures, the names of the officials, , may have been taken from the Kenyan document, Photoshopped onto Bomford's original, and then the entire newly made file substituted for Bomford's original. Until someone compares what was there originally and what is there now, there is a question.
My first thought on the signature was simply the ink used in the fountain pen (or other writing instrument) had faded to the point of allowing underlying typing to be clearly seen through.
On further inspection and magnification of the signature, the “r” is way to crisp/bright/perfect as compared to the rest of the area to simply be a case of faded ink.
It clearly looks as though the “signature” was pasted onto the document after the typed information was either pasted or on the original template.
Links to links that Kenya did not call itself a Republic until after December 12, 1964...
However we have now learned that the Coast Province declared its own independence in October of 1963, announced that it would join Kenya, and referred to Kenya as "The Republic of Kenya". Perhaps it was wishful thinking on the Coast Province leadership, but since Mombasa was part of the Coast Province that was officially referring to itself as "The Republic of Kenya," after October 1963, it stands to reason that official documents of that region, including Certified Copies of the Registration of Birth, would include that title.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I was beginning to think I was the only one who did not see a "K" or a "6"!
From the sounds of the article, this is a teaser to let people know they’ve got the goods and they ae going to be publishing it soon....Technique used to sell papers and get a rise out of a position that you want to report on IOW BAIT....Wouldn’t be surprised if phones aren’t wired etc by those big guys with the red coats. Let’s hope we catch a really BIG fish.
One of the typewriters at my family's house in Detroit in the 1950s-60s was like that.
I found this on auction at eBay. I cannot say for certain that this is the brand of typewriter we had, but the number keys were just like this.
Red, I am the person who created the image of the BC in question. I made the JPEG so that it would be a quick download and provide information about what was being discussed. It was not meant to under-go a forensic proctological exam. The original picture was imbedded in a FLASH script and was not savable... I captured the image at the largest the fixed frame would allow in a PNG (lossless) format. That PNG image clearly shows an "E" in Lavender's name. However, the PNG file was 870K in size and would take a long time for people on slow internet connections to downloadfive or six minutes on dialup. When I uploaded it to my image sharing host site, it was automatically converted to a 70% compression JPEG of about 85K, 1/10 the size it was before. It would then download very rapidly. However, that process removed detail data from the file to get it that small. Among the details that were removed were the exact color and shade amounts for each pixel around the letters used to anti-alias them. The simplified anti-aliasing BLURRED the letters. The "E" sort of looked like a "K" and our minds want to make sense of blurs so the brain created a gestalt that looks like a "K." Here are side-by-side comparisons of the JPEG image (right) and PNG image (left), both blown up to 700%. Remember THESE ARE THE SAME PICTURE!
For the umpteenth time, Robert. I don't NEED a magnifying glass. I created the image that has the so-called "K," and I also have the original PNG file from which it was converted to a JPEG and the original has an "E". The PNG to JPEG process created the illusion of a "K." Here are the JPEG (on the right) next to the original PNG image (on the left), magnified to 700%:
I agree, obviously a teaser. I’m new to the Canadian Free Press so I cannot judge the veracity of their claims simply out of lack of experience on my part.
I do find it a bit suspicious that a major talk show host was so concerned about their career in 2008 that they would now admit to being being basically blackmailed. In other words.....
If this person was so fearful for their career in 08, why open up a bag a worms, especially one that would place the person into jeopardy of the same retaliation now? In fact, it seems to me with the attention currently being placed on the B/C issue by the MSM, this person would have more reasons to worry.
All speculation of course, for all we know it could be Lou Dobbs... :-)
I think that what he is saying is that it has HIS personal data on it. To him, that makes it "real." It matches what he knows about himself and his parents.
But I bet he doesn't know who signed his certified copy... or who registered his birth. Unless he is comparing his actual copy with the one that is now on the internet, in detail, he can't certify that the one that is currently on his family's geneology website is what he placed there.
There have been several murders that the MSM would know about. These have also been either ignored or downplayed.
If you suspect someone has been murdered you’re not going to risk your life or your family’s.
This is much deeper than most freepers know, and those who have been given information are quiet so not to endanger others....Loose lips does sink ships.
Kandy, there IS no "excuse," just an explanation for what certainly was done and what happened. I know because I DID IT. The letter is an "E".
See, it’s gonna be yer fault for a long, long time.
Over at DU they’ll soon be posting “Swordmaker’s fault” rather than “Bush’s fault”.
Pica is not a font... it's a unit of type measurement. A Pica is 1/72 of an inch.
On typewriters Pica is a type face SIZE that puts 10 fixed width Characters per inch on the paper. A Pica typewriter can have models that have different typefaces but each of them would be 10 characters per inch. Pica is larger than Elite which is 12 Characters per inch.
we don’t get to pick our heroes. They come to us warts and all.
***Well said. And Polarik is among them.
Exactly! And is why I’m skeptical that a talk show host would was threatened in 08 would be willing to put the threats in writing let alone coorperate in an investigation into the matter.
I went and read the entire article, they claim to have completed a 8 month investigation and have additional information that will be released at some later date.
It strikes me as odd, knowing the murders we know about (wonder how many we don’t know about) anyone involved would be willing to or not squelch any investigation they were part of.
