No they are additional contemporaneous evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii in early August 1961, not in a hospital in Kenya!

What about the fact that the address listed as their residence in the birth announcement,belonged to another family, who lived in it from the 50's until 2008 ? That's a weird inconsistency. You'd have to see the actual newspaper (not the microfiche) to be sure.

How does the birth announcement in the Hawaiian newspaper tie into all of this? Born in Kenya and a birth announcement in Hawaii???????????????????????????

One phone call to Tutu and the announcement was in. Not sure, but would the phone record for international calls survive this long? Any record of a call from or to Mombassa from Hawaii might be suspect, but it could also explain that.

The grandparents understood the advantages of laying the paper trail, but grandparents also tend to brag. If Obama Sr. was considered resident in Hawaii, then the announcement would be braging rights for the new grandparents.

The Dunhams were not poor folks, and though international calls were expensive, unreliable, etc., they would have been able to easily afford the call announcing the baby.

The issue is that the two contemporaneous birth announcements in Hawaii at the time, coupled with a Hawaiian public official publicly stating he has seen the long form BC and confirms Obama was born in Hawaii, pretty definitively nullify the arguments that Obama was born elsewhere.

Please be very careful here. This Kenyan document really smells of fraud. I think someone has set up a trap to make many concerned about what’s really on the long form BC (and Occidental Records) look like fools.

Not really - it wouldn't matter, a blank form from before they officially became a Republic would be needed. I highly doubt any had been saved.
