Then how do you explain the long standing contemporaneous birth announcement in two Hawaiian newspapers on microfilm in multiple Hawaiian libraries?

We don't know specifically who placed those announcements in those papers. That they appear is not under dispute.

If they were placed as a normal administrative function of a hospital in Honolulu, then that argues convincingly that Obama was born at the place and time that he claims.

If they were placed by a relative of Obama's, say by his grandparents, then they are meaningless.

This is why we need to see his long-form birth certificate.

BC’s are something people need to display all their lives. Why not put use the soon-to-be legal name of the country on official documents which would be referenced principlally in the future when Kenya would officially be The Republic of Kenya?

It looks more offical and authentic than the COLB the Obama crew has produced online...but that's not saying a whole lot.

I am not ready to rush to judgement.

Whatever document is ever actually produced by either side will have to have a full fledged review and certification by a recognized and qualified 3rd party of professionals.

That's all that will do at this point.

I don't think it would have been to hard to have a friend in the paper business slip a newspaper announcement about the birth of the grandson realizing the problems being Kenyan or having dual citizen ship might have caused!

You bolded the wrong part. You’re citing a document that was amended in 1999. It’s a mistake to cite a 1999 document and pretend that it indicates a document as it existed in 1963.

The original 1963 constitution of Kenya has been posted many times on this discussion. The word republic does not exist within it.

The type-written characters look to me to be created with a typewriter, not forged digitally. The form itself is printed with fonts that need to be further analyzed to make sure they are vintage 1964 fonts, not modern ones.

When I first looked at the doc early this morning there were no comments- now there are several.

One says:

It's too bad, would've been to easy, but I zoomed in on the document and there are two different resolutions: one for the paper and background and a second for the typeface on the page. Says fraud to me regardless of the particulars of Kenyan independence etc. Oh well
