You raise interesting points.
However, I looked into this this morning.
Kenya is indeed a republic, and is still a member of the Commonwealth which it joined in 1963.

I believe they call them RAParations on that side of Chicago. Zero has decided to just “spread the wealth around” as a sneaky substitute. See “Porkulus.”
What an interesting question!
Yep, People get hit by cars, taxis crash head on into lampposts, just keep moving folks
I was NOT the one who said” I don’t care if it’s real” . I was QUOTING someone else in here who said that , someone who was wasting their time with a totally absurd argument and then admitted they didn’t care if this latest “document “ is real or not anyway.Read before you open your mouth.
Please post as a separate thread?
Just be sure you don't lump (for example) my lack of religious faith to be part of an affinity for atheism or anti-religiousness. I realize that pointing out objective facts in these circumstances can be a trap since many facts may be part of an adversarial strategy (e.g. the Hawaiian official who declared Obama was born in Hawaii, but only according to "vital records" not further defined).
But I certainly respect the certainty of your faith in God as I read it from your home page and I acknowledge my own uncertainty thereof and its potential drawbacks. I may be rather zealous in pointing out logical flaws in some material here, but I assure that it is not because I am an agent for some agenda, knowingly or otherwise.
Sometimes bein’ a geezer pays!
No, 1963.
The 1964 date is incorrect. Postal Stamps from the time also say republic of Kenya. They also had a legitimate interim government set up. It is not as if Kenya got its independence overnight. It was planned and orderly.
The 1964 date has been shown over the course of the thread to be incorrect.
This is so obvious! I'm sure they immediately started ordering the forms needed became independent in 1963. The official ratification was a formality. No different than when we (The US) ratified our Constitution years later.
You are correct. The best we can say at this point is that we are not sure what Kenya would have been calling itself throughout most of 1964. At some point following independence, new blank forms would have to have been printed. At a time of political chaos, someone may well have made a best guess as to what the eventual official name of the country would be.
And how does a country declare itself a republic? There are (and have been) plenty of “people’s republics” in the world that are something else entirely.
The answer is that a country can call itself whatever it pleases.
There were many African countries that achieved their independence in the few years before Kenya did (including Algeria, Benin, Burundi, Central Africa, Chad, Congo, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Togo). They all called themselves “republics”. Kenya followed the trend, apparently with some confusion along the way.
I don’t see how it is possible to declare this document real or fake on the basis of the country name that appears on it.

Okay, thanks for the ping, Ernest, I just got from Mass & finished breakfast.
Looks like Obama’s “jig is up.”
It looks like Oduya to me. Oduya comes up in a general Google of Kenyan names. On the other hand, Couya does not; showing up only in references back to WND.
I predict that “The Vinyard” is going to be mighty hot this August.

So you are saying this is fake? If you had the info before the election, why didn’t you produce the Kenyan birth certificate into evidence?
On Friday (I think—may have been Thurs.), he laid out the case of the “birthers,” neither condemning them nor praising them. It was only a few sentences, but I nearly fell out of my computer chair. He stated their concerns, and then moved on to something else. If you’re a 24/7 subscriber, you can go back to those archived programs. Wish I were more help. I remember being stunned and thinking, “Other than the jokes about what God and Obama have in common, this is the first I’ve heard Rush get near the subject.”
It seems to me that Orly should have gone to London to verify what she needed to verify BEFORE going public with this Kenyan BC. Why broadcast your game plans to the enemy? Just a small quibble with her tactics and some worry about her safety and document destruction now that the cat is out of the bag.
hmmmmm.....
