Possible, but requires a tight ship down at the Hawaiian records office. If just one person saw something or had second thoughts they would have a pretty big place in history. Then if his birth is not recorded on a birth document, but one that was filed after his birth, perhaps years later, or one added recently to cover the bases. Those later documents would contain a lie, so how many people would know about that lie when the document was filed?

Yes, I saw the WND story. The WND site has a clearer photo of the document. It sure looks legit to the naked eye. But, of course, further analysis should be done.

Correcting myself quickly — there is a signature for the registrar, but you were correct to point out the missing signature for the father. Maybe the official was satisfied that it wasn’t necessary for this request. For example, if the court of Hawaii requested the document, a signature from the father might not be necessary. Especially when they had proof that the father was not responding to court queries (they did have this proof and it is included in the final divorce ruling available online)

Those two were nobodies before Watergate. Taitz certainly qualifies. No one thought Watergate would bring down a presidency. But it did.

There are two places for signatures, one for Obama Sr. and one for an official. Both are blank. The document is a 1964 certified copy of the an original 1961 birth certificate. The Deputy Registrar is certifying that the information contained in the copy is same as original, and, I would presume, that required signatures were present in original.
